Synopsis[]

At Tamagotchi School, it is very popular to exchange profiles by writing your own and handing them over! However, a profile is found that says "I love you, Melody", causing the girls to go crazy! Who is the owner of the profile?

Plot[]

At Tamagotchi School, Memetchi, Lovelitchi, Melodytchi, Moriritchi, Violetchi, and Makiko exchange pieces of paper with fun facts about themselves to each other. Mametchi and Kuchipatchi come up to them and ask them what they're doing, and the girls explain that they're trading profiles. Each of them has a book full of paper profile sheets they can give each other to write fun facts about themselves and a message if desired. The pages are then given back to store in their profile book to add to their collection. Mametchi thinks this is cool and looks around to notice that all the girls in school are trading profile pages.

After Makiko and Memetchi brag about their profile books, Melodytchi hands pages to Mametchi and Kuchipatchi so they can get started too. Moriritchi shows how they can decorate their book with Tamamori and how Pashalin can take pictures of them to put on the pages. All the girls give Moriritchi the profiles they wrote for her, but she becomes embarassed when Violetchi starts to read out what Moriritchi's "type" is, frantically asking her not to read it out loud because it's embarrassing. Makiko reads it out anyway, revealing that Moriritchi likes unfashionable people (Which she clarifies is because she wants to give them makeovers.) Uwasatchi then sneaks behind Lovelitchi to read her profile book and notices a "deceptive profile", proceeding to expose that Makiko wrote that her specialty was cooking, even though she's actually bad at it, and her real specialty is fashion. embarrassing Makiko. Telelin, however, reads from Uwasatchi's profile and notes that her type is Tamagotchis who are tight-lipped, embarrassing Uwasatchi in return.

As Melodytchi watches them, she gets a sudden burst of inspiration from everyone learning about each other through their profiles. She plays a short tune on her violin and everyone praises the new sound. Melodytchi asks Lovelitchi if she would like to collaborate on a new song together, to which she says yes, but Telelin interrupts with a call from Manenetchi calling her into work. Lovelitchi leaves for TAMAX-TV and seems disappointed she couldn't collaborate with Melodytchi right away. Later, at TamaCafe, Lovelitchi and Melodytchi brainstorm their new song.

The next day, Memetchi picks up a profile page from under one of the desks in class and brings it to Melodytchi as it looks like a page from her or Lovelitchi's profile books, and she responds that it's meant for her. Moriritchi, Makiko, and Violetchi come over to look at the page and they read it to figure out the owner. They gasp in surprise and blush when they read the message on the back: "I love you, Melodytchi". The girls are all excited for her, but Melodytchi doesn't quite understand, saying that she loves all her classmates too. The girls are shocked that despite her mature appearance, Melodytchi doesn't seem to understand the difference between "liking" someone and "loving" them. They then all resolve to find the "culprit" behind the confession. Memetchi takes the charge, explaining that she can solve the case like Anpan Detective by using what's written on the profile page for clues. However, they would need to pick out suspects first. The first fact is that their suspect's hobby is reading, and the girls head to the library to find them. After watching all the boys in the library, Mametchi, Kuromametchi, Gozarutchi, Debatchi, and Spacytchi are picked out as the prime suspects.

One of the facts on the profile page is that the owner is proud of their sense of rhythm. They decide right away that Kuromametchi qualifies because he can play guitar, but are unsure about the other boys, so they hide behind a staircase and play music as their suspects pass by. Gozarutchi thinks it's an ambush and clings to the ceiling, Debatchi and Spacytchi rap, and Mametchi dances along, mentioning a theory that dancing to fast music is good for the body and mind. Lovelitchi then comes along and the girls explain what they're doing which Lovelitchi is excited for and joins in.

The next fact is that the suspect is bad at the running long jump, which Lovelitchi and Moriritchi mention they can relate to. Outside, everyone watches the suspects perform a long jump, looking for any of them that don't do it perfectly. Kuromametchi does a good jump, Debatchi accidentally lands on his teeth, Mametchi trips over a random Onsemoguratchi and falls over, and Spacytchi trips on the Onsemoguratchi's shovel, but still manages a perfect landing. This leaves Mametchi and Debatchi as the final suspects.

For the final test, the girls leave out a table with several plates of cookies and lure Mametchi and Debatchi over to it. The final fact is that the suspect's favorite food is cookies (which Lovelitchi notes are also her favorite.) so the first suspect to take a cookie should be the owner. However, Kuchipatchi runs in to swipe all the cookies and eat them before either of them can take one, much to Memetchi's frustration, as she went out of her way to pick a location Kuchipatchi wouldn't find them. After enjoying the cookies, Kuchipatchi laments all of them being gone, but Mametchi responds that he's been helping Mamametchi make cookies lately and enjoys making them, and invites Kuchipatchi to come to his house after school to make more. Memetchi declares Mametchi to be the culprit, and the girls jump from their hiding place in joy. Lovelitchi and Moriritchi grab Mametchi's arms to restrain him and Memetchi shows the page to him.

However, Mametchi denies the page being his as he hasn't started making his profile yet and the girls are left confused. Lovelitchi, who immediately recognized the page, then speaks up and explains that the page is actually hers; she meant to give it to Melodytchi later, but hadn't realized she lost it. The girls fall to ground in exasperation, but Melodytchi says she's happy because she had wanted to talk to the person who wrote the profile. She tries to return the profile to Lovelitchi so she can finish it, but the wind blows all the pages out from her book. As the tama-friends run around trying to catch the pages, Lovelitchi is struck by inspiration and finally figures out what lyrics would fit with Melodytchi's new song.

The next few scenes show Lovelitchi and Melodytchi busy at work creating the new song together. When they return to TamaCafe, Lovemamalitchi tells them that she's made a new present for them. Inside the cafe, Lovelitchi and Melodytchi show their new outfits to their friends, and Moriritchi adds pink heart tamamori so they can match. The two then perform their new song, Happy Heart, as everyone moves to the beat.
