Jewelboxtchi, also known as Hosekiwakotchi (ほうせきはこっち Hōsekiwakotchi) in Japan, is a parent-stage Tamagotchi who debuted on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 5 Celebrity worldwide.
Name Origin[]
Jewelboxtchi's English name comes from the English word "jewelry box".
Its Japanese name is a combination of "hōseki-bako", meaning "jewelry box", and "hōseki wa kocchi", roughly meaning "jewels this way".
Appearance[]
Jewelboxtchi resembles a yellow jewel box with a face, arms, legs, and a white pearl on top of its lid. The front of the lid is decorated with blue stars, pink hearts, and white pearls across the lip. Inside Jewelboxtchi's body are pink and blue gemstones.
Personality[]
Jewelboxtchi is a renowned gemstone expert. They are a kind, humble and doting parent who teaches about gems. Rumor has it that the Tamagotchi Planet's most valuable gems are stored inside their body...but they will never admit it.

Tamagotchi Connection Version 5 Celebrity[]
Jewelboxtchi is a gender-neutral parent who evolves from Jeweltchi upon marriage. On the Japanese version, the only way to obtain it is through a connection marriage to an international device.
On the English version, Jewelboxtchi can occasionally appear when using the Dating Channel to offer Jeweltchi as a marriage partner, and if the user accepts, both their Tamagotchi and Jeweltchi will evolve directly into a Jewelboxtchi and produce a single egg together that always hatches into Iwatchi.
Tamagotchi Meets[]
Jewelbox is an NPC exclusive to the Fantasy version of the Tamagotchi Meets, where it can be encountered at Princess Palace; however, it cannot be married. If the user visits the Ball after 7 PM, Jewelboxtchi will appear at the end to give them the Jewel Box item, which is needed to unlock the Arabian Night location.
