Jolly Tree

A Jolly Tree is a plant that appeared in the movie Tamagotchi: Happiest Story in the Universe!.

Appearance

The seed of the jolly tree is relatively big. It is shaped like an oval and the body has blue, yellow, and orange stripes on it. There is also a green leaf already sprouting from it.

The appearance of the tree that grows from the seed is dependent on the Tamagotchi that takes care of it. As an example, Kuchipatchi's tree grew into a large tree that sprouted doughnuts. Togetchi's tree resembled a fern with spiky leaves that matched with his spiky body. The seed requires the caretaker to be directly active in watering and maintaining it; otherwise, it will remain a normal sprout and will not take on any of the caretaker's unique traits.

Tamagotchi: Happiest Story in the Universe!

Grippatchi gives her class an assignment where they must grow a jolly tree seed and draw a picture of the tree that grows from it. Mametchi uses a rube goldberg machine to water his seed as he is busy trying to make a machine that spreads happiness. As a result, everyone's seed has fully grown into a tree except for Mametchi's which remained a sprout. Mametchi is initially sad about it until Hapihapitchi sprinkles some happiness on him to make him feel better.

In the after credits of the movie, Mametchi is revealed to have taken time to properly care for his tree. The sprout is now a large tree that grows pink heart shaped fruit. Mametchi and friends are seen eating the fruit for lunch before going on another adventure in the Magical Flying Library Ship.
