Kabumamatchi (かぶままっち) is an adult female Tamagotchi from Patchi Forest.

Kabumamatchi has a round brown body with short arms and legs. The top of her head resembles a root or antenna with a pink bow. The area around her face is light yellow and square, and she has a pink beak.

Kabumamatchi hangs out at the Kabuto Hot Spring in Patchi Forest. In Tamagotchi no Appare! Niji-Venture, she is portrayed as laid-back and friendly.

Name Origin

Kabu () is a Japanese word meaning a tree stump or root. Her name could also come from kabuto (カブト), which is from kabutomushi (カブトムシ), the name of the Japanese rhinoceros beetle. This is evidenced by her appearing at the Kabuto Hot Spring, and sharing some visual similarities to a rhinoceros beetle. Mama may mean mother, although she has not been shown with any children.
