Kabutotchi's Tree Stump Jump Game (カブトっちのきりかぶジャンプゲーム Kabutotchi no Kiri Kabu Janpu Gēmu) is an official Japanese Tamagotchi web game that was published on Tamagotch Channel in 1998. The game is based on the Mori de Hakken! Tamagotch.
Gameplay[]
The goal is to help Kabutotchi move around a grid of tree stumps and get watermelon while avoiding a frog. The game alternates between the player moving Kabutotchi and the frog moving. When it is the player's turn, the player can click on any of the pink highlighted tree stumps to make Kabutotchi jump there. The highlighted stumps will always be one space away Kaubotchi, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
After Kabutotchi makes a move, then it will be the frog's turn to move. The frog can also move only one space per turn, and will move in a random direction. The goal is for Kabutotchi to get three watermelons. If the frog lands on the same stump as Kabutotchi, the player will lose a turn. After Kabutotchi eats three watermelons, the player must maneuver Kabutotchi to the topmost stump. Then the game is won.
On a second screen, Kabutotchi will encounter either Twinaritchi or Helmetchi. Then the game will redirect the player to that character's webpage.
