Kakiwaritchi (かきわりっち) is a male adult Tamagotchi who works appears in the Tamagotchi! anime.

Kakiwari (書割) means backdrop.
Appearance[]
Kakiwaritchi somewhat resembles a tree. He has a gold body with three vertical lines on his stomach, and tall green bushy hair that has leaves in it. He also has a pointy green moustache and dark, oval-shaped eyes.
Personality[]
Kakiwaritchi is a veteran employee who has worked at his job for many years. He repaints his leaves to show his mood. For example, in the episode "Chocolate! Chocolate! Who Will Get Lovelin's Chocolate?" he repainted his leaves to look like chocolate hearts because he wanted Lovelin's valentine chocolate. At the end of the day, he gives sagely advice to the younger staff.

Kakiwaritchi can be seen working at TAMAX-TV as a set designer, often creating the sets for various shows.
He participates in an art contest in "Tamamori! Art Showdown" and does well until given the assignment to decorate Kurumatchi. Instead of decorating Kurumatchi, Kakiwaritchi decorates the set around him. In "Pashalin! Pictures of Memories", Mametchi and friends trace a mysterious photo left in Pashalin to a backdrop seen in a TV show and question Kakiwaritchi about the location it depicts. He leads them over to Depagatchi who used the backdrop for a promotion and could give them more information.
