Kakuretchi (かくれっち) is a character that appears exclusively on the TamaOtch. It is one of the four characters that appears in multiple growth stages.
Appearance
Kakuretchi has a grey body with large arms and legs. It wears a black belt and and scarf, and it has large, black eyes.
Personality
Due to its shy personality, Kakuretchi always keeps half of itself hidden. It feels more comfortable playing as extras in the background than the main role. This means its talent, such as its strength and agility, often go unnoticed.

TamaOtch
Kakuretchi can be obtained at either the Active or Maturity stage. It can be obtained from any character at the previous growth stage, either if any training game was won less than three times, or from poor care. It will evolve into this form after only 24 hours if the latter occurs. Additionally, Kakuretchi can be obtained at the Maturity stage from Tamaotchi if only one training game was played, and can become the secret character, Sendatchi, if all of the training games are played many times. It is one of two characters at the Active stage who cannot be obtained at the Debut stage and can only become two Maturity stage characters: Tamaotchi and Tabakotchi.
Kakuretchi sleeps from 9pm to 7am and its stage time is from 7pm to 7:30pm.
Name Origin
Kakuretchi's name is coined from Kakure, which means "hidden".
Trivia
- Unlike the other characters on the TamaOtch, Kakuretchi always stands in the far left corner of the screen. Because of this, when it eats, it looks like the food is disappearing on its own, and when on stage, the spotlight covers half of the screen. When it is dancing, it will move to the other side of the screen when moving right, and will not move at all when moving left. This also applies if it is refusing something. Also, when sad or asleep, its head and half of its body becomes visible.
- Unusually, when asleep, it is on the right side of the screen rather than the left.
