Kinakomotchi (きなこもっち Kinakomotchi) is a child Tamagotchi who appears in on Tamagotchi Connection Version 1 and Version 2.

Kinakomotchi resembles a light brown rice cake with a puffy head and a face.

More active than Marutchi; Kinakomotchi loves to jump. A jealous type, when he gets overexcited his head gets inflated. It takes pride in its skin.

Tamagotchi Connection V1, V2

Kinakomotchi can be obtained through taking perfect care during the baby stage, but only from the second generation onwards.

Babytchi and ShiroBabytchi are guaranteed to evolve into Kinakomotchi on the second generation (unless evolution to Oyajitchi is due to occur), but Kinakomotchi is more likely to be the child stage for the next generation if their parent's discipline was over half-filled or if one of their parents were one of the first or second-tier adults.

With good care, Kinakomotchi will evolve into Ichigotchi on odd-numbered generations and Young Mimitchi on even-numbered generations. Subpar care will result in it evolving into Hinotamatchi or Oniontchi depending on the generation.

On the Version 1, Kinakomotchi sleeps from 8pm to 8am, has a base weight of 10lb and connecting with another Tamagotchi can earn the Ball item. Kinakomotchi's unique meal is a bowl of rice and its unique snack is a piece of candy, which it shares along with its connection item with Marutchi and the four teenagers.

On the Version 2, Kinakomotchi again can only be obtained from the second generation onward, and its favorite food is pineapple and it dislikes french fries. Petitchi and ShiroPetitchi will randomly evolve into either Kinakomotchi or Kuribotchi if the conditions to obtain the healthier children have been met.

Kinako Mochi (きなこ餅) is a type of Japanese dessert. Kinako means soy flour, and mochi means rice cake.
