Kinotchi (きのっち) is a male baby character that debuted on the Tamagotchi Plus Color in Japan and the Tamatown Tama-Go internationally. His female counterpart is Nokotchi.
Appearance[]
He resembles a mushroom, with a blue cap with yellow spots, and his face is light yellow with a pink beak and pink cheeks.

Tamagotchi Plus Color / Hexagontchi[]
Kinotchi has a 50% chance of appearing when the first egg hatches or when two characters marry. He evolves into Kuribotchi in odd generations, and Ahirukutchi in even generations. On the Plus Color, a Kinotchi born from Ojitchi and Otokitchi marrying will become Oyajitchi. On the Hexagontchi, he evolves into Tensaitchi Jr. instead.
TamaTown Tama-Go[]
Kinotchi has a 50% chance of appearing when the toy starts or when two characters marry. He can become either Ahirukutchi or Mattaritchi. However, a Kinotchi born from Ojitchi and Otokitchi marrying between two Tama-Gos will become Oyajitchi.
In the Anime[]
Kinotchi makes a brief cameo in Tamagotchi: Happiest Story in the Universe!, as the newborn baby of an unknown couple.
Name Origin[]
Kinotchi's name is derived from きのこ kinoko.
