Kuromametchi Finds His Coolness (クール！くろまめっちの旅 Kūru! Kuromametchi no tabi) is part 2 of episode 16 of Tamagotchi!.

Thinking that he is no longer cool, Kuromametchi goes on a journey to regain his coolness.
Plot[]
The Eco-usatchi triplets talking about Kuromametchi
At Tamagotchi School, Kuromametchi overhears the Eco-usatchi Triplets talking about seeing a "Bread and Milk dance" on TV and he remembers taking part in that dance and didn't realize it was broadcasted. One of them then confesses seeing Kuromametchi at the ice skating rink in a really fancy outfit and he becomes horrified at remembering that memory again. The triplets talk amongst themselves, remarking that Kuromametchi is a really funny guy and that he's a "people-person". He walks away feeling insulted by how the triplets see him, thinking that his "lone wolf" persona is ruined. Gozarutchi appears and says good morning to him so Kuromametchi returns the greeting, but stops himself upon remembering what the triplets said about him.
Later, Kuromametchi is in his bedroom, deep in thought. The doorbell rings and he opens the garage door to Mametchi, Memetchi, and Kuchipatchi inviting him to Tama Cafe to try out the new sweets. He almost accepts the invite before remembering the triplets calling him a "people-person" and then notes to himself that he's supposed to be a lone wolf and not like sweets. He rejects the invite and says goodbye to them, closing the door, and leaving Mametchi surprised at his response. Back inside, Kuromametchi does different poses to show off his coolness and eventually gives up, stating that he has lost his coolness.
He later goes to Waru Cafe where bad tamagotchis usually hang out. Two of the patrons start fighting over stolen cake their chairs come to life and throw them out of the building. The owner of the cafe tells Kuromametchi that even if the cafe serves bad guys, there still needs to be order. He then asks him what he'd like to drink and Kuromametchi responds cafe latte before changing it to black coffee. He takes a sip and puts it down, exclaiming it's bitter. The onion shaped patron next to him asks the owner if "Cool Dandy" has been in the cafe, getting Kuromametchi's interest. He asks about Cool Dandy and the patron explains that he's the coolest person ever admired by boys and girls. Kuromametchi concludes that he's a legend and must meet him, but the owner replies you will only see him if he wants to see you. Thus, Kuromametchi resolves to find his coolness so he can meet Cool Dandy.
The scene shows Kuromametchi's journey through the wilderness which takes him through a desert, jungle, and snowy mountain. Finally, he is seen under a waterfall and remarks that this isn't working before slipping on the rock and getting washed away by the strong currents. When he regains consciousness, it is nighttime and he finds himself in a clearing with a mysterious tamagotchi, Morikamitchi. He tries asking where he is and Morikamitchi hands him a stick with a roasted potato on it. He tries to eat it, but it's too hard so Morikamitchi shows him how to peel it. He copies him and is surprised at how delicious the potato is. Later on, both of them are relaxing in a hot spring looking at the starry night sky. Morikamitchi finally speaks "Even the rivers...even the little ones can transform into a big ocean". Kuromametchi ponders these words and becomes inspired.
He goes back home using a log as a boat. He waves goodbye to Morikamitchi and realizes that he shouldn't hurry to find himself. As he travels the river, he finally understands what it means to be "cool". At Tamagotchi Town, Kuromametchi walks past Waru Cafe as Cool Dandy enters it. He states that he just saw a tamagotchi with a great amount of coolness and their silhouette is revealed to resemble Principal Mimizu of Tamagotchi School. At the school, the school children are outside listening to Principal Mimizu's speech. Gozarutchi greets Kuromametchi and he gladly says hello back. Mametchi, Memetchi, and Kuchipatchi invite him again to Tama Cafe and this time Kuromametchi accepts, saying that he'd like to have some cafe latte. Mimizu tells everyone to be nice and respect others in his speech and Kuromametchi wonders about who Cool Dandy could be while listening. He thinks to himself that one day he'll transform into an ocean, even though he is just a small river now.
