Legend of Love-Love Power Spot (伝説のラブラブパワースポット Densetsu no raburabu pawā supotto) is the 116th episode of the original Tamagotchi! anime.
Synopsis[]
As Valentine's season approaches, some girls are excited about giving chocolates while others are excited about popular boys. Himespetchi, who has a crush on Mametchi, suggests that all the girls should go to Tama Beach, where the legendary Love-Love Power Spot is. The girls depart while daydreaming of being in love and meeting a new prince! They arrive at Tama Beach...[1]
Plot[]
As it nears Valentine's Day, Tama Street decorates itself for the occasions and the Tama-friend girls talk about their excitement for it at TamaCafe. Himespetchi asks who they're giving chocolate to and the girls say that they're giving them to friends, family, and boys they like. When Flowertchi keeps who she's giving chocolate to a secret, Himespetchi panics and ask if it's Mametchi. Flowertchi denies it and Memetchi mentions that Mametchi usually gets chocolate from Chamametchi and his friends, adding that it's usually Kuromametchi and Kuchipatchi who gets a lot of chocolate.
Meanwhile, Spacytchi and his brothers walk down Tama Street. Akaspetchi asks what Valentine's Day is about and Spacytchi explains that it's about getting chocolates from admirers. The one who gets the most chocolates is the most admired and Spacytchi says that it's going to be him so he can easily take over Tamagotchi Planet. Back at TamaCafe, Himespetchi consults her guidebook and talks about the legend of Love-Love Powerspot. If a Tamagotchi goes to the spot, they'll have a high chance of seeing the one they're destined to be with. Wanting to meet their one true love, the girls decide to go on a trip there.
As the Lovelin Bus travels to Tama Beach, it passes by Mametchi who is also in the area. When it arrives at the beach, the girls get out and look around for Love-Love power spot. However, it is nowhere to be seen and Himespetchi apologizes for wasting their time. They spot a pink Tamagotchi walking along the beach and ask her if she knows where the spot is. She responds that she isn't sure, but is also looking for the spot which is supposed to be on the beach. When the girls explain why they're looking for it she seems to be taken aback by their answer and makes fun of it, but agrees to help them with their search.
A yellow Tamagotchi called Bontentchi then approaches them and reveals the pink Tamagotchi as Bententchi. Bontentchi asks what she's doing and Bententchi explains that she's helping the girls find Love-Love Power Spot. When Bontentchi is unable to give any clues to its location, Bententchi brushes him off and blushes when he notes that she must want to find it for a special reason. The girls immediately pick up on Bententchi's crush on Bontentchi and decide to help her confess her love to him, though Bententchi looks unsure about it, Memetchi then spots Mametchi walking by and he comes over to explain that he's looking for an ancient Tama Heart is around Tama Beach.
When Mametchi further explains that the Tama Heart should be hidden in a mysterious plate, Bententchi becomes more aggressive to him and tries to get him to spit out more information on its location. Himespetchi becomes worried for Mametchi and uses her Himespe Phone to find out which direction they should go to look. The phone points them towards a rocky coast and they eventually come across a cave. As they walk inside the cave, they reach a dead end. Bententchi notes that the sun is setting and the light from it illuminates the cave, causing some parts of the ground to flame up. Mametchi digs at the flaming spots and uncovers a piece of the plate he's looking for.
Mametchi then asks Bententchi if she knows someone who's an expert with plates and she blushes, thinking about Bontentchi. Himespetchi goes with her to go get Bontentchi from his house and he expresses excitement at the Tama-friends finding an ancient plate. Behind a fence, Himespetchi chatises Bententchi for not confessing her love yet when she had the opportunity. When they reach the cave, Bontentchi worries that the cave is too dark for them to explore as Bententchi could trip and get hurt. However, the cave is lit from candles placed by the Tama-friends and he thanks them for making it safe.
Inside the cave, Bontentchi explains the the plate has special properties about it, putting a piece next to a candle to demonstrate its ability to sparkle and produce fire. Himespetchi then realizes that the cave must be Love-Love Power spot and the girls become excited over finding it at last. Bententchi starts to leave, saying that she's glad Bontentchi could help them with the plate and that she doesn't need to be there anymore. However, Bontentchi stops her and confesses his love for her on the spot, causing her to blush. She struggles to reply at first, but manages to yell that she loves him back to the girl's delight. The broken pieces of the plate then alight in flames and return to the plate on the ceiling, fully completing it. The Flaming Tama Heart then pops out and goes inside Lovelitchi and Melodytchi's Tama Profys. As everyone leaves the cave, the girls excitedly talk about their adventures as Bententchi and Bontentchi smile at each other. On the way back to Tamagotchi Town, the girls realize that they forgot to look for their one true love at Love-Love Power spot and fall to the floor in exasperation.
The next day at Tamagotchi School, the girls shower Kuromametchi and Kuchipatchi in chocolate for Valentine's Day. Himespetchi works on her TamaTomo letter and gives it to Mametchi along with with a box of chocolates. As Himespetchi becomes lost in her imagination of Mametchi receiving her gift, he thanks her for the "friend" chocolate. This shocks Himespetchi and while she's dismayed at first, she becomes happy that Mametchi liked it and hopes that he will see her as something more someday. After school, Akaspetchi asks Spacytchi why he got zero chocolates. Spacytchi responds that they can just get their own chocolate and sends them off.
