Lucky Haka-Kun is a special character exclusive to the Mothra Tamagotchi.
Appearance[]
Lucky Haka-Kun is identical in appearance to the gravestone seen in the Mothra Tamagotchi's death screen - a cross marker planted in a mound of soil.
Instead of remaining in the center of the screen like the normal death screen, Lucky Haka-Kun moves back and forth across the screen, like any other Mothra character. It does not have any additional sprites for animation, only using the existing grave sprite.
On Virtual Pets[]
Tamagotchi Mothra[]
Lucky Haka-kun evolves from a Mothra Leo that succeeds the fourth consecutive generation of Moll & Lora and meets their evolutionary conditions - zero care mistakes and maintaining a weight between 70-79 tonnes for 80 waking hours. It has the same stats as Moll and Lora - having a base weight of 1 tonne, apples for meals, a base sickness chance of 25%, attaining immortality if 33 snacks are fed after evolving, and sleeping from 9pm to 8am.
Trivia[]
- Lucky Haka-Kun is not present on the official Mothra Tamagotchi growth chart and does not have a known official name. The name used to refer to it in this article is a conjectural term given by its discoverer Rhubarb Pie, who based it on Lucky Unchi-Kun's name and the Japanese word "haka", meaning grave or tomb.
- Due to its absence from official material and having evolutionary conditions involving Moll & Lora, it was not known to exist prior to June 5th, 2024, more than 26 years after the Mothra Tamagotchi's release.
- Lucky Haka-Kun is one of three original characters made for the Mothra Tamagotchi, the others being Baby Mothra and Mayura.
- Lucky Haka-Kun bears similarity to the Digimon character Ohakadamon, the gravestone seen on the original Digital Monster's death screens and only specified as a Digimon (let alone named) in the 1997 book Digital Monster: I'll Become the Digimon King, Mon!
