Makkakka town

Makkakka Town (まっかっかタウン Makkakka Taun) is a town on the Tamagotchi Planet. It is the primary setting of the Keitai Kaitsuu! Tamagotchi Plus Akai and the home of the Akai Tamagotchi, a unique type of Tamagotchi that emit a red glow.

The town gets its name from its blood red sun, high temperatures, and the red wine river that flows throughout the town. Its main exports are grapes, wine, shaved ice, and many other popular summer foods, and it's said those who eat or drink Makkakka Town foods are more passionate and lively. As it's not far from Tamagotchi Town, it's considered a popular tourist destination, especially in the summer.

Heartchi, ShiroHeartchi, Cheritchi, Tomatchi, Darumatchi, Ribotchi, and Tengutchi are all native to Makkakka Town.

Makkakka Town is a location available on the 20th Anniversary and Gift versions. It can unlocked from the third generation onward by having the Tamagotchi change its body color to red and then visiting the backyard. The Tamagotchi will find a large cork in the ground and, after pulling it out, will travel down a river of red wine to Makkakka Town.

The user's Tamagotchi can meet and marry Akai versions of Mametchi, Memetchi, and Kuchipatchi here. Akai Mametchi is exclusive to the 20th Anniversary version. The town's special option is the swimming race game, where the user can win the Gondola item necessary for unlocking Uratama Town. Doing the race game several times in a row will turn the user's Tamagotchi into an Akai Tamagotchi.
