Mame City (まめシティ Mame Shiti) is a city located near Tamagotchi Town. This city is based on the 'intelligence' characteristic and is the hometown of Mametchi. It appears frequently in the anime.

Mame City is where diligent Tamagotchi from the Mame Family live. There are many schools, libraries, and research facilities. Most of the roads and buildings are block-like, which has good construction efficiency. One of the signature features of Mame City is the Mame Tree, which resembles a large sprout with two wide green leaves. The residential areas contain housing subdivisions.

Mame City was accessible on the Tamatown websites for the Chou Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus/Ura Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus and the Tamagotchi Connection Version 4/4.5.
On the Entama and Uratama, it can be visited with a Mame City Ticket (consuming it upon logging out) or a UFO, both of which can be bought at Tamatama Market or Uratama Market. Mame City offers four souvenirs for sale - Drill Portable Computers for 450G, Mame Drills for 250G, Busstoptchi Figures for 440G and Mame Books for 330G. All of these items yield one happy heart and one Intelligence point when used.
For the V4/4.5 version, there were two visitable locations: the Hardware Shop, and the Intellectual Work Building. At the Hardware Shop, players could collect three souvenirs: the hammer, the ladder, and the drill. At the Intellectual Work Building, players could play the Laboratory Game, which involved catching falling Mame Blocks to build a tower.

Mame City was one of three playable locations in Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop. It contained the Dentist, Cleaners, Music Club, and Dental Salon shops.
Tamagotchi no Appare! Niji-Venture[]
Mame City is one of the locations that can be visited in the beginning of Tamagotchi no Appare! Niji-Venture. If the player chooses to control Mametchi, the game starts at this location.
Tamagotchi: Party On![]
Mame City is one the playable boards in Tamagotchi: Party On!. Its two character encounters include Busstoptchi (who sends any players who stop on its tile to the one on the opposite side of the board) and Tensaitchi (who can yield or take away Popularity Points to any players that stop on his tile).
Young Mametchi, Young Mimitchi, Young Androtchi and Ringotchi show up as NPCs during events and minigames that take place on the board.
