Market Obatchi's name comes from the English word 'market', which refers to her resembling a market stall and working as a merchant. Her name also comes from the Japanese word oba (おば), which means a middle-aged woman.
Appearance[]
Market Obatchi resembles a market stall. Her torso resembles a counter with goods on it. Her head is like a roof that goes over the counter. Two arms stick out of the sides of the roof. There are many Market Obatchis in Guruguru Town, and they are all different colors and sell different kinds of goods.
Personality[]
In Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 3, Market Obatchi is depicted as a friendly and polite Tamagotchi. She is friends with Takatchi, and she likes finding items on sale and saving money.

In the Japanese release, they were both called Market Obatchi, but in the English release, their names were changed to Market Obatchi A and Market Obatchi B.
