Memetchi (めめっち Memetchi) is a female adult Tamagotchi character. She made her debut on the Tamagotchi Connection. Since then, Memetchi became a mascot character along with Mametchi and Kuchipatchi and has appeared on many Tamagotchi virtual pets. Her care status is often different per release, such as good care in one and severe neglect in another, but her care is average in most releases.
Her family consists of her parents, Mememamatchi and Memepapatchi, her little sister Imotchi, and her Tama Pet called Chitchi. Her male counterpart is Mumutchi.
Appearance
Memetchi's trademark qualities are her large sparkly eyes and springy curl, which always swirls to the right. Her body is orange and she has a large, round head. Her arms and legs are very thin like sticks, and they appear to be dark brown in the anime.
Personality
Memetchi is a very stylish, feminine, child-like character and somewhat defensive of her appearance. If criticized, she will most likely stare and often say, "You're being mean to me!" This shows that she can be a crybaby at times due to her sensitivity.
In Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 2, Memetchi says that orange is her favorite color. She also loves pink.
According to Imotchi in Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 3, Memetchi wants to become a singer. This is also portrayed in episode 12 of Let's Go! Tamagotchi, but in the Tamagotchi! anime, Memetchi wants to be a hairdresser instead.
She loves all things swirly, which is why many things she owns have swirls on them. Her favorite foods are cupcakes and oranges, and she dislikes fish.

Memetchi is the mascot of the Meme Family, obtained from Young Memetchi and Ichigotchi if their highest guts/skill points are their Style, and on the V4 in addition to good care and a high level of overall skill points.
She is able to evolve into Makiko under certain conditions - on the Entama, she needs to become a records artist, reach 999 Style in 72 hours and increase her job rank to three stars within that period of time, whereas on the V4 evolution will occur at any point in adulthood prior to marriage if she has at least 350 Style points, and has 450 points total.

Memetchi is an Adult-stage character in the Universal family. She can evolve from UFOtchi or Ichigotchi.

Memetchi is a high bonding adult that evolves from Chamametchi, Ichigotchi and Shelltchi with predominantly cheerful influence, and will evolve into Mememamatchi when getting married. Marrying her to Mumutchi at 100% bonding will produce the Meme Family, and the oldest Omututchi will evolve into Memetchi after an hour.

Memetchi is a low bonding adult that evolves from Chamametchi, Ichigotchi and Shelltchi with predominantly active influence, and will evolve into Mememamatchi when getting married on international versions, or Jyooubatchi on the original Japanese Royal Famitama. She is able to evolve into Antoinetchi via using a cupboard.

Memetchi's personality remains the same as it is in the games. She is a feminine young girl who is very sensitive about her appearance. Her curl signifies her own adorable appeal of herself. Whenever she is having a bad hair day, she would become very depressed. But if anybody insulted her look, she would become very furious. She also loves beautiful dresses and accessories just like Makiko and Lovelitchi. However, unlike Makiko, she understands that there are more important things than fashion, such as friendship.
Memetchi, Mametchi, and Kuchipatchi have been friends since they were little. They share a much closer bond with each other than their other friends. She has stayed beside the two and supported them all the way. But whenever she is feeling down, Mametchi and Kuchipatchi would cheer her up.
Memetchi has been rivals with Makiko since they were very young. They get into constant arguments about who has the best curls in their hair and glare at each other angrily. Mametchi often steps in to put a stop to their arguments. Memetchi's little sister Imotchi is not as stylish as her, but they also fight because Imotchi likes to be right all the time, often annoying Memetchi with her incompetence.
Memetchi has a special talent, that is the ability to sense things with her curl. By twirling it, she could scan her surroundings and assume the correct decision with positive thinking. But sometimes her sensing talent can be faulty and lead her to a wrong situation, often blaming others if this occurs. This usually happens when her hair curl is damaged, or wet from the rain. Her hair is delicate and it once broke, as seen in GO-GO Tamagotchi!. When she is completely without her curl, she loses all sense of direction and runs right into things.
She is one of the main characters in the anime, Tamagotchi! Yume Kira Dream and is the saxophone player in the Kira Kira Girls band. She helps out at Salon de Dream as a hairdresser.
When she blinks, there is a sound slightly like tambourines.

Makiko, full name "Madeline Kirie Dotchine", is a special adult character that debuted on the Chou Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus in Japan, and later the Tamagotchi Connection Version 4 worldwide. On both the Chou Jinsei and Version 4, she is obtained by first raising a Memetchi and then increasing the style points to 350 and the total skill points to 450.
Devil Memetchi
Devil Memetchi is Memetchi's Henshin Jo character. In the anime Tamagotchi!, in the Henshin Jo world, she uses Devil Magic and is one of the Three Underworld Devil Sisters.

Imotchi is Memetchi's younger sister. Her skin tone is yellow and she has freckles. She doesn't have any sparkles in her eyes but she has eyelashes at the corners of her eyes. She isn't into fashion as much. She just wears a round, pink bow.

Mememamatchi is Memetchi's mother. She appears on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 5/Famitama and the Tamagotchi Connection Version 5.5/Celebrity. She has two curls on each side of her head, which is shaped like a raindrop. She wears a cream dress and has dark oval-shaped eyes with no sparkles.

Memepapatchi is Memetchi's father. He appears on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 5/Famitama and the Tamagotchi Connection Version 5.5/Celebrity. He has curly bangs on each side of his head, and a curly moustache. He has small dot-like eyes.
Name Origin
Memetchi's name has two origins. The first is from me (目), translating to eye, referring to her large eyes. The second is memeshii (女々しい), translating to feminine, which also may be referring to her eyes, as well as her personality.
Trivia
- When Memetchi's hair isn't curled, it sticks straight up unlike normal hair.
- Her quote on the TamaTown Tama-Go is "Dreams should always be big!"
