Moll & Lora (モル＆ロラ Moru & Rora), also known as the Elias (エリアス Eriasu), is a Toho character that appears exclusively on the Mothra Tamagotchi.
Appearance[]
Moll and Lora's appearances differ drastically to their Toho incarnations. As depicted in Tamagotchi media, they are a couple of young blonde girls similar in appearance to Mikachu, the differences being that they both wear orange dresses, brown shoes and wear their hair in a single ponytail.

Tamagotchi Mothra[]
Moll and Lora are secret characters that can be raised from Mothra Leo with perfect care and weight kept between 70-79 tonnes. If these conditions are met and Mothra Leo dies from care mistakes (not sickness) and lays an egg, raising it into another Mothra Leo and meeting the same conditions will make it evolve into Moll & Lora. In turn, Moll & Lora can lay eggs capable of evolving into Moll & Lora - doing this five times consecutively will allow the Mothra Leo to instead evolve into Lucky Haka-Kun if the conditions are met. If the device is reset through the reset button, if its batteries run dry or a different adult is raised, all progress in the process will be lost.
Like with Fairy and Ghogo, their meal is an apple instead of a leaf and they have a base weight of one tonne, while they sleep from 9pm to 8am. Their base chance of sickness is 25% and they attain immortality if 33 snacks are fed after evolving. Moll & Lora are tied with Mothra Leo and Lucky Haka-Kun for having the slowest default happiness loss rates on the device at 75 minutes, while they lose one hungry heart every 70 minutes.
As NPCs, Moll and Lora appear during the Mothra's hatching animation, dancing and singing alongside it. When the medicine icon is used when a character is sick, Moll and Lora will again reappear to sing and dance to the character to heal it.
Trivia[]
- The Mothra growth chart on Tamagotch Channel refers to Moll and Lora as Moll and Mora (モル＆モラ Moru & Mora). However, nowhere else on the site refers to the duo by name and the Mothra's instruction manual only calls them Moll and Lora.
- Moll & Lora mark the longest passage of time between a Tamagotchi's release and the discovered method of obtaining its secret character. While Moll & Lora had been documented in 2021 by being obtained via a battery glitch, it wasn't until June 5th, 2024 (approximately 26 years after the Mothra Tamagotchi released) that a definitive method of obtaining them was documented by Rhubarb Pie. This would subsequently result in the discovery of Lucky Haka-Kun later that day, albeit through dumping the ROM and manipulating the passage of time.
- Moll & Lora's multigenerational evolutionary requirements are similar in function to the traited egg mechanic seen on many Digimon virtual pets, where a Digimon that dies after after reaching a certain age can lay an egg with an innate and cumulative extra 10% boost to the chance of digivolving to Ultimate or Mega.
