Ms. Houtaiko (包帯子先生 Houtaiko Sensei) is a female Tamagotchi character who is Tamagotchi School's nurse. She appears as a non-raisable character on the Tamagotchi iD L and the Tamagotchi 4U.
Name Origin[]
Houtaiko is a cross between 包帯 houtai and 子 ko. It may also be related to 太古 taiko, because of a similarity with mummies.
Appearance[]
Ms. Houtaiko is covered in bandages, like a mummy. The bandages on top of her head stick out in different directions and resemble hair, and one loose bandage hangs off by her side. She has a yellow beak and oval-shaped eyes. It is said that she takes off her bandages when she goes to sleep, but nobody knows what she really looks like underneath.
Personality[]
Ms. Houtaiko is calm and caring. She is very helpful towards the students and treats their injuries. In Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 3, she states that she is good at giving advice about love.

If the player tries to send their Tamagotchi to school after it closes, Ms. Houtaiko will appear to send them back home.
