Mumutchi (むむっち Mumutchi) is a male adult character that debuted on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 5.
His female counterpart is Memetchi.
Name Origin[]
Mumutchi's name comes from「むむ」(mumu, Japanese expression for "hm hm") or a partial repetiton of「むっと」(mutto, to be sullen).
Appearance[]
Mumutchi resembles Memetchi, but is blue in color and has a curl leaning horizontally. He has a small, dark-blue hat, sparkly eyes and pouty lips.
Personality[]
Mumutchi is energetic, and his dream is to be a detective. When something interests him, he jumps into investigation but has never actually solved any problems. When he doesn't like something, he pouts. He easily complains about anything. When Mumutchi gets angry, he will shout "MUMU!". He also says "だよ" (dayo) after every sentence. In Tamagotchi no Kira Kira Omisetchi, his catchphrase is "I've got to visit every shop that interests me!"

Mumutchi can be obtained from any male teen with a bonding from 40% to 70%, and the training items associated with the Cheerful Family used. When getting married, he will evolve into Memepapatchi.
If a Memetchi marries one while she is at 100% bonding, they will create the Meme Family.
