Nahahaha! Mametchi's GOTCHIMAN Debut (ナハハハハ! まめっちのGOTCHIMANデビュー Nahahahaha! Mametchi no GOTCHIMAN debyū) is the 130th episode of the original Tamagotchi! anime.
Synopsis[]
Mametchi is excited to appear in his favorite TV show "GOTCHIMAN", but gets cast as the villain, "Dr. Mametchi". Feeling disappointed at first, he soon learns the importance of villains from Black Hat and tries his best to make Gotchiman look attractive.
Plot[]
At TAMAX-TV, Mametchi is excited by TamaPtchi's request for him to appear in an episode of GOTCHIMAN. He excitedly tells this news to his friends at TamaCafe and is surprised to learn that Kuchipatchi was also asked by TamaPtchi to appear in the show. When he goes to bed that night, Mametchi imagines himself as MameGotchiman helping Gotchiman capture Black Hat.
The next day, however, Mametchi is upset to hear from TamaPtchi that he is supposed to play as a villain. He is reprising his role as a mad scientist from a previous movie along with Kuchipatchi. Mametchi later sits in the hallway, feeling downcast from this news. Black Hat sees him and asks what's wrong and Mametchi replies that it was his dream to work alongside Gotchiman as a hero. Black Hat then buys him a cup of soup to cheer him up and tells him that he shouldn't be upset by his role as it's important to the show. The villains help make Gotchiman look cool by letting him overcome an obstacle and defeat the villains in a heroic way.
Feeling better with Black Hat's advice, Mametchi becomes determined to act his role as a villain. He goes to Moriritchi to improve his outfit with Tamamori and has Black Hat teach him how to do an evil laugh. Meanwhile, Madonnatchi and Herotchi read the episode's script and are disappointed about being overshadowed by Lovelin and Gotchiman.
On the day of filming, Mametchi greets everyone on the set. The episode opens with a scene of Mad Scientist Mametchi at his laboratory creating Mecha Kuchipatchi. He gives him a mixed concoction that gives him super strength and the two evilly laugh as the scene ends. TamaPtchi praises Mametchi's acting and the crew takes a break to set up the next scene. Mametchi's friends come over to watch Mametchi's performance and Herotchi and Madonnatchi are seen planning to sabotage Lovelin and Gotchiman.
TamaPtchi takes Lovelin and Madonnatchi around the set to explain what they should do for the next scene. He points out a controller for Lovelin to grab and vines for them to swing on to reach Gotchiman. The crew then begins filming the next scene where Gotchiman confronts Black Hat who is holding Herotchi hostage. Black Hat summons Mad Scientist Mametchi to help him and Mametchi calls on Mecha Kuchipatchi to beat up Gotchiman. Seeing Gotchiman struggle against Kuchipatchi makes Mametchi worry, but Black Hat winks at him and he remembers his advice of how villains make the heroes look cool. Mametchi becomes determined again and sends Kuchipatchi to finish off Gotchiman.
Hero Lovelin and Madonnatchi then appear to help out Gotchiman. As the two go to where the controller is, a snake is revealed to be covering it. Madonnatchi screams in fear and runs away as Lovelin calmly picks up the snake and puts it to the side to get to the controller. Madonnatchi jumps on one of the vines and Herotchi shouts out in worry as it's the one he had messed with earlier. The vine breaks and Madonnatchi nearly falls into the bubbling river below before Lovelin catches her and brings her to the other side. Lovelin hands the controller to Gotchiman and he summons the Gotchi Car which allows him to defeat the villains and send them running.
After the scene ends, TamaPtchi praises Lovelin for keeping her cool with the snake. Realizing the snake was real and not a prop placed by ADtchi, she screams and runs away. TamaPtchi then asks ADtchi about the snake and tells him to keep a closer eye on the set to ADtchi's confusion. The Tama-friends congratulate Mametchi on playing a villain and he responds that he couldn't have done it without Black Hat's help. He adds that he now looks up to Black Hat like Gotchiman which makes him blush and causes a Tama Heart to appear between them. Lovelin collects the heart in her Tama Profy and Kizunatchi identifies it as the Neon Heart.
Later on, TamaPtchi, Mametchi, and Kuchipatchi walk down a hallway to talk about future episode appearances, passing by Black Hat. Mametchi hopes to work with Black Hat more and Black Hat smiles as he watches them pass by.
