Neenetchi (ねぇねっち Nēnetchi) (known in the Tamagotchi Pix as ‘’’Nenetchi’’’) is a female Tamagotchi character that debuted as a non-raisable character on the Tamagotchi P's and was formally introduced in GO-GO Tamagotchi!, before becoming a raisable character was on the Tamagotchi 4U.
Name Origin[]
Ne (ね) and nē (ねえ) are Japanese words that are used to get attention, having a similar meaning to the English word "hey". Neenetchi uses both terms frequently. Also, Nē-san (ねえさん) and Nē-chan (ねえちゃん) are Japanese terms used to address an older sister. Sometimes Orenetchi calls her Nēne-chan instead of Nē-chan.
Appearance[]
Neenetchi is a chubby, light pink Tamagotchi with three curls; two on the sides of her head and one on the top. She has a white and dark pink flower on the left side of her head. She wears a yellow under suit and dark pink dress and shoes.
Personality[]
Neenetchi is a very bright and charming Tamagotchi. She is infatuated with KuroMametchi, and is very confident around her crush. She is usually cheerful, but sometimes gets into fights with Orenetchi. She is friends with Himespetchi and they like to admire their crushes together.
Her love catchphrase is "Neenekyun", similar to Himespetchi's "Gigakyun".

Tamagotchi 4U and 4U+[]
Neenetchi can be obtained from any female toddler if its weight exceeds 70g upon evolution and has less than 10 points for all five skills. Having 8 or more care mistakes will trigger an evolution to Neenetchi regardless of weight or skills.
Tamagotchi On[]
Neenetchi is an NPC character who appears at the park at My Town. She may also sometimes be seen in the crowd at weddings. Neenetchi can also appear in several seasonal animations. In spring, she is seen with Orenetchi when the Tamagotchi chases after a cherry blossom petal. In summer, the Tamagotchi will run off to play in a concert with her. Near Halloween, she is dressed as a pumpkin and appears with Kumattatchi and Pukkutchi at the Tamagotchi's house to trick or treat. If the Tamagotchi refuses to give them candy, the group will pile junk on them and leave.

In the Anime[]
GO-GO Tamagotchi![]
Neenetchi debuts with her brother Orenetchi in GO-GO Tamagotchi!, becoming a part of the main cast. She attends DoriTama School and is a part of the cheerleading squad. Her house is depicted as yellow and pink. The front part is shaped like Neenetchi's head, whereas the top part has Orenetchi's curl and yellow head decoration. She sleeps at the bottom of a bunk bed, underneath Orenetchi, who sleeps at the top. Neenetchi's blanket has a flower on it that matches the one on her head and there are photos of Kuromametchi on the walls.
In "Gigakyun! Neenekyun! Big Gottsun!?", while in a quarrel, she and Himespetchi bumped into each other, causing them to switch bodies. They had to live out each other's lives until they figured out how to switch back. Himespetchi in Neenetchi's body tries to get Kuromametchi to like her more, and Neenetchi does the same for Himespetchi. This makes them make up their differences, and with the help of Mametchi, they got their original bodies back.
In "Shining Smiles! Happy Tamaween" she asks Kuromametchi to dance with her and he accepts.
Tamagotchi! Tamatomo Daishuu GO[]
Neenetchi appears in one of the More! Tama Talk at the Earth segments that occurred at the end of the episode.
Other Forms[]
Slim Neenetchi[]
Slim Neenetchi is Neenetchi's personality stage on the Tamagotchi 4U/4U+ where her entire body and face becomes thinner and smaller and her curls are longer and separate from her hair. When Neenetchi diets and exercises, she can take this form. She may be more conventionally “attractive”, but she has less energy and isn't as happy. She is obtained by having a weight of 25g and the form is reverted by gaining a weight of 40g.

Orenetchi is Neenetchi's little brother. He is childish and very mischievous. He calls his Neenetchi "neene-chan" and loves and respects her despite occasionally getting into fights with her.
