Neenetchi (ねぇねっち Nēnetchi) is a female Tamagotchi character that debuted as a non-raisable character on the Tamagotchi P's. She was formally introduced in GO-GO Tamagotchi!. Her first appearance as a raisable character was on the Tamagotchi 4U.

She is the older sister of Orenetchi. She lives in DoriTama Town, although she is originally from Tamagotchi Town (before the Tamagottsun).

Personality

Neenetchi is a very bright and charming Tamagotchi. She is infatuated with Kuromametchi, and is very confident around her crush. She is usually cheerful but sometimes gets into fights with Orenetchi. She is friends with Himespetchi and they like to admire their crushes together.

Her love catchphrase is Neenekyun, similar to Himespetchi's Gigakyun.

Appearance

Neenetchi is a chubby, light pink Tamagotchi with three curls; two on the sides of her head and one on the top. She has a white and dark pink flower on the left side of her head. She wears a yellow under suit and dark pink dress and shoes.

Neenetchi is obtained from any female toddler by having it weigh 70g or more before adulthood and having less than 10 points for all five skills. She can also be obtained from neglecting a female toddler.

Home

In the anime, Neenetchi lives in a house that is yellow and pink. The front part is shaped like Neenetchi's head, whereas the top part has Orenetchi's curl and yellow head decoration.

She sleeps at the bottom of a bunk bed, underneath Orenetchi, who sleeps at the top. Neenetchi's blanket has a flower on it that matches the one on her head. There are photos of Kuromametchi on the walls.

Name Origin

Ne (ね) and nē (ねえ) are Japanese words that are used to get attention, having a similar meaning to the English word "hey". Neenetchi uses both terms frequently. Also, Nē-san (ねえさん) and Nē-chan (ねえちゃん) are Japanese terms used to address an older sister. Sometimes Orenetchi calls her Nēne-chan instead of Nē-chan.

Slim Neene

Neenetchi has a personality stage call Slim Neene, where her entire body and face becomes thinner and smaller and her curls are longer and seperate from her hair. She also gains an extra eyelash. She can be acqiured by having a weight of 25g. She turns this form whenever she thinks about Kuromametchi.
