Ninjanyatchi, known as Shinobinyatchi (しのびにゃっち Shinobinyatchi) in Japan, is a female adult Tamagotchi character who debuted on the Tamagotchi m!x.
Name Origin[]
Shinobinyatchi's name comes from shinobi (忍び), meaning 'stealth', and nya (にゃ), meaning 'meow', the onomatopoeic word for a cat's noise.
Shinobi is also the native Japanese pronunciation of the kanji for the world "ninja". Historically, "shinobi no mono" was the standard term. However, the "ninja" form, based on the Chinese pronunciations of the kanji, became much more prevalent in modern times, especially in the West.
Her English name comes from the word "ninja", which is what she is dressed as, and "nya", an onomatopoeic word for a cat's noise.
Appearance[]
Ninjanyatchi resembles a white cat with shurikens as ears. Her eyes are blue and she has a pale lavender star around her left eye. She wears chain mail armor, a purple scarf, and purple stockings. She has a thin tail with a gray star-shaped tip.
Personality[]
Ninjanyatchi is training to be a ninja. She is described as persevering, and boasting swift movements. It is also said that she is as cool as the boys during training, but she can be shy and romantic around her favorite training opponents.
Her profile on the Tamagotchi Pix website says, "Ninjanyatchi trains hard as a ninja. She is proud of her quick movements and being able to keep cool as she does it. She is also shy and romantic when it comes to love!"
