Nyorotchi (にょろっち) is an adult-stage character that debuted on the original Tamagotchi. He was present in the 15th Anniversary Character Poll as a possible male character.
Appearance
He resembles a Kuchitamatchi with a long, wriggling body beneath him. His original Japanese artwork has him colored blue, while in his US art, he is red. On the Tamagotchi L.i.f.e. app, it also comes in pink and orange.
Personality
Nyorotchi is obsessed with food, and will not like it if he isn't fed. However, he will become sick if he eats too much. Any kind of food pleases him.
Nyorotchi is a frail Tamagotchi who is not very likely to have a long life on Planet Earth.
The Nintendo Power guide to the Tamagotchi Gameboy game stated: "Nyorotchi is the weakest of the adult types. It's often ill and always hungry. It complains a lot, and neither praise nor discipline will help it."
Name Origin
Nyorotchi's name comes from the Japanese word "Nyoro" - which is roughly translated as "Wriggle".
