Obotchi (おぼっち Obotchi) is a male teen-stage Tamagotchi character that first debuted on the Osutchi. His female counterpart is Ojyotchi.
Name Origin[]
Obochi's name comes from the Japanese word "obotchan", which means young man or boy.
Appearance[]
He looks like a small blue ball with arms and legs and a dark blue curl of hair in the middle of his forehead.
Personality[]
Obotchi is a fashionable little gentleman who spends all his time worrying about the little curl in the middle of his forehead. He's really quite a mischievous little guy, but in front of the "grown-ups" he acts like a well-behaved little "Student Council President"-type. Obotchi always gets up early and he loves playing games. He dislikes it when anyone pulls his hair.

Osutchi[]
Obotchi is a TMP 1 teen who evolves from Mohitamatchi with good care and has a chance to evolve from the TMP2 children through neglect.
His discipline bar will be lowered to 0% or 50% upon evolution depending on whether or not it was at least 75% full beforehand. If he did not have high enough discipline as a child, Obotchi cannot evolve into Pyonchitchi. The number of discipline calls he will make will be higher if he had low discipline upon evolution, and he will stop making discipline calls after the bar reaches 100%.
Obotchi has a base weight of 20g, loses a heart every 60 minutes and will evolve after 72 hours into either Pyonchitchi, Kiwitchi, Bunbuntchi, Megatchi, or Sutebotchi. He sleeps at 9 PM and wakes at 9 AM.
Tamagotchi Connection Version 3[]
Obotchi is one of three teen characters obtained through good care on odd generations. Although it can evolve from Mizutamatchi/Tamatchi in a first generation, in subsequent odd generations it can only be obtained from Mohitamatchi/Kuchitamatchi. Obotchi's favorite food is juice, and dislikes donuts. It sleeps at 8 PM and wakes at 9 AM.

Obotchi is a male universal teen who evolves from any one of the child characters with below average care. He sleeps from 9 PM to 10 AM.
TamaTown Tama-Go[]
Obotchi's data appears on the Tama-Go's ROM as a male teen, but he cannot be obtained.
