Oniontchi (おにおっち Oniotchi) is a male teen-stage Tamagotchi character that debuted on the Tamagotchi Connection.
Name Origin[]
Oniontchi's name comes from the English word "onion", which is what it is he is based on.
Appearance[]
Oniontchi has a brown body, a yellow beak, light brown cheeks, stick legs, and his eyes always look a bit angry.
Personality[]
While an average Tamagotchi, he is also known to be a very bad singer. Usually he can be found singing loudly in his bedroom. He is in the middle of a rebellious age and tries to put on a strong front; although he is really a crybaby type. He seems bad, but is really a nice guy.

Oniontchi is a teen obtainable in even-generations with two or more care mistakes. It always evolves from Marutchi, as only Kinakomotchi can evolve into Young Mimitchi. However, if Kinakomotchi has two or more care mistakes it will evolve into Oniontchi. It sleeps at 9 PM and wakes up at 10 AM.
Tamagotchi Connection Version 2[]
Oniontchi is one of the two teens obtainable on an odd-numbered generation from bad care. It sleeps from 9 PM to 10 AM, its favorite food is French Fries and its least favorite food are Parfaits.
Chou Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus[]
Oniontchi is the bad care male teen in the Kuchi group, and he evolves into Minotchi with high intelligence points, Tarakotchi with high style/fashion points, or Kuchipatchi with high social/kindness points. With 350+ social/kindness points and 450+ points total, Kuchipatchi can evolve into Nonbiritchi.
Tamagotchi Connection Version 4[]
Oniontchi is a male Kuchi teen that can evolve from Mohitamatchi with average care. If he finishes the teen stage with a skill point total of 80 or higher and receives good care he may evolve into either Minotchi (intelligence), Tarakotchi (fashion), or Kuchipatchi (kindness).
If he doesn't finish the teen stage with a skill point total of 80 or higher but is cared for well then he will instead evolve into Pyonchitchi. However, he may also become Debatchi if he has a skill point total of under 80 and is not cared for well. Also, even if his skill point total is higher than 80, being neglected to the point of death will trigger an evolution to Gozarutchi. He sleeps from 8 PM to 9 AM, his favorite food is Sausage and his least favorite food is Grapes.
