Orenetchi (おれねっち Orenetchi) is a male adult Tamagotchi character that debuted on the Tamagotchi P's in Japan and on the Tamagotchi On internationally. He is the younger brother of Neenetchi.

Appearance

Orenetchi has light blue skin. He has a curl on his forehead and a yellow bow-like shape on the right side of his head. His eyes are oval-shaped and he has light indigo irises. He has pink cheeks and wears a pink scarf.

Personality

Orenetchi is very childish, cheerful, mischievous, and easily embarrassed. He has a deep respect and admiration for KuroMametchi, possibly a crush as well. He longs to be as cool as him, even wearing an identical pink scarf. Whenever he's near, Orenetchi will stop behaving childish and act as cool as he can. He calls his sister neenechan, and despite their differences, he loves and respects her. However, he does sometimes get annoyed when she acts as the boss, thinking she is treating him like a child (this goes to the point where he runs away because of this in Runaway Journey of Two Men). He sometimes uses the word ore to refer to himself and he likes singing Orene, Orene, Orenetchi!

Tamagotchi 4U

Orenetchi is obtained by giving Fuyofuyotchi 3-7 care mistakes. He will become Oreadultchi if he has all school skills and his happiness is above 80%, and will revert if his happiness goes below 60%.

Tamagotchi 4U+

Orenetchi is obtained by giving Tendotchi 3-7 care mistakes. As with the 4U, he will become Oreadultchi if he has all school skills and his happiness is above 80%, and will revert if his happiness goes below 60%.

Tamagotchi On

Orenetchi is an NPC that may be encountered at My Town's park. He often talks about his sister and Tourcontchi. He can also be seen during weddings.

In the Anime

Orenetchi and Neenetchi were both introduced as new main characters for GO-GO Tamagotchi!, integrating among the main cast of the previous three series. He becomes friends with Chamametchi in episode 9 (230).

Orenetchi lives in a house that is yellow and pink. The front part is shaped like Neenetchi's head, whereas the top part has Orenetchi's curl and yellow head decoration. He sleeps at the top of a bunk bed, while Neenetchi sleeps on the bottom. Orenetchi's blanket has the same shape as the yellow part of his head. There are photos of Kuromametchi on the walls.

Name Origin

Ore is a Japanese first person pronoun, generally used by males. Orenetchi usually uses ore instead of watashi or boku like other characters. Ne is used to get someone's attention or ask for agreement, similar to the English word "hey".

Trivia

• Orenetchi is the only adult on the 4U and 4U+ that cannot evolve from both children.
• In My Tamagotchi Forever, Orenetchi is one of the few characters to have an original sprite in the album, in which does not appear in other virtual pets. In his case, he does not appear in any non-colour screen Tamagotchis.
