Osumotchi (おすもっち) is a neglect-exclusive character found on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 5. It can be either male and female, although it has only one sprite for both variations.
Name Origin[]
Osumotchi's name comes from "sumo", since Osumotchi's design is based off of sumo wrestlers.
Appearance[]
Osumotchi is a large sumo wrestler with a round body, small, stubby arms and legs, and black hair in a bun.
The male variation has a light yellow body and pink cheeks, and wears a red mawashi. The female variation has a lilac body and yellow cheeks, and wears a white mawashi and light pink fabric that covers its torso.
On Virtual Pets[]
Tamagotchi Connection Version 5[]
Osumotchi can be obtained from any adult character if the user overfeeds them by filling up 7 hearts (2 are hidden) 3 times. It is the adult form of the Large Family, and its parent form is Metaboritchi. The evolution can be reversed if the user feeds it a Balance Biscuit or uses a Mirror.
On Websites[]
Tama & Earth EXPO[]
Both Osumotchi appear as background characters and customers in several games on the Tama & Earth EXPO website. In the Pounding Mochi game, the player helps the male Osumotchi pound the mochi at the right time, avoiding hitting the female Osumotchi's hand. In the Tama Relaxation Lounge game, a female Osumotchi runs the restaurant area.
