Pashalin! Pictures of Memories (パシャリン！思い出の写真 Pasharin! Omoide de shashin) is part 2 of episode 86 of Tamagotchi!.
Synopsis[]
Moriritchi finds an old landscape photograph in Pashalin that she has never seen before. She can't remember where it's from, but feels it's an important memory. Moriritchi and friends decide to find out where the place is and why a photo was taken there.
Plot[]
While looking through Pashalin's pictures from the previous episode, Moriritchi finds a photograph of a valley with a river running through it. She doesn't recognize the landscape, but notes that she has a feeling that it's important. Moriritchi asks Pashalin if she knows about it, but she also can't remember anything about it asides from the same feeling that it's important.
The two join their friends at TamaCafe to see if anyone can help them figure out the photo. After the photo is passed around to everyone no one is able to give an answer to Moriritchi and Pashalin's disappointment. Telelin then steps in and says that she'll call upon the "pink messenger" to help them in their search. Moriritchi asks who that is as Hapihapitchi flies into TamaCafe and Telelin introduces themselves as the pink messengers. She further explains that Hapihapitchi will fly her and Pashalin over the mountains to find the location in the photo. After Mametchi and Melodytchi praise the idea, the group flies off toward the mountains.
However, they're not able to find the location and Hapihapitchi returns to the cafe exhausted from the flight. The three apologize for not helping enough as Mametchi runs in carrying a map, dressed as Anpan Detective. He unrolls the map on the table and tries to figure out the photo's location based on key details in the photo and the mountains depicted in the map. However, he is unable to draw a conclusion to everyone's annoyance. Mametchi then adds that he once saw the set on a TV show which means they should ask someone at TAMAX-TV for more information. Happy to have a lead, everyone but Hapihapitchi makes their way there. Lovepapalitchi walks out and is disappointed that everyone left already, wanting them to taste his new recipe. Hapihapitchi explains where they went and hands him the photo which Lovepapalitchi seems to recognize.
At TAMAX-TV, Mametchi shows the photo to Kakiwaritchi who remembers painting the location on a backdrop for the Tamagotchi Department Store for a Gotchiman promotion. At the TamaDepa, Depagatchi explains that the set was put into storage after filming. The group then enters the storage area to find the backdrop, but gets distracted by various things they find instead. Telelin gets annoyed and scolds everyone for getting distracted, before falling backwards as the boxes she was standing on falls. Mametchi and Lovelitchi asks if she's alright, but Telelin notices something in front of her and walks over to it; it's the backdrop and everyone excitedly moves to look at it. After examining it, Mametchi asks Pashalin if she recognizes the location now. She responds that she still can't remember the location, but still feels that it's something very important that she should remember. Mametchi then freaks out over the case not being solved and Melodytchi comforts him.
Everyone returns to TamaCafe, disappointed that they never found the answer despite all their efforts. Lovepapalitchi walks in and says that he recognizes the location in the photo, having been there before. He shows everyone photos that he took and explains that he had to follow a river in order to get there. Everyone becomes excited and they all make the decision to go to the location now that they know how to get there. As they all exclaim their excitement, Lovepapalitchi questions what they're excited for.
