Patchiman (ぱっちマン) is Kuchipatchi's alter ego. He appears as a costume character on the Tamagotchi Plus Color and the Hexagontchi. He also appeared in episode 33 of the Tamagotchi! anime.
Appearance[]
Patchiman resembles Kuchipatchi wearing a red cape, and a helmet with eyeholes on his head.
Personality[]
As a hero, Patchiman will help out others with the motivation of being rewarded with food at the end. He often uses his ability to eat large amounts of food or his keen sense of smell to solve problems. When he does a heroic laugh, he goes "Patchi tchi tchi!".

Tamagotchi Plus Color/Hexagontchi[]
Kuchipatchi can transform into Patchiman when he uses the hero set, which can be purchased at the TamaDepa. Patchiman will transform back when the hero set is used a second time.
When Kuchipatchi becomes Patchiman, there is a small animation of Patchiman jumping out of the Hero Set, flying backwards while the "Gain Intelligence GUTS" music from the Entama is played. He crashes face first, gets embarrassed, and emits light (like an evolving Tamagotchi) from his body afterwards. After that, Patchiman jumps for joy, and the animation ends, leaving Patchiman in your care. Like Kuchipatchi, he will become orange for the rest of the day if he drinks three bottles of orange juice in a row. Patchiman will remain in the Patchiman form when he is sleeping.

In the Anime[]
Tamagotchi![]
Patchiman is the focus of "New Hero? Patchiman Datchi" where Kuchipatchi creates him as an superhero persona. He goes around Tamagotchi Town helping those in need and he is usually rewarded with food in the end. Eventually, Mametchi becomes annoyed at how everyone pretends that Kuchipatchi is not Patchiman and creates his own superhero persona, MameGotchiman. He challenges Patchiman to help out an old man who is carrying boxes near a truck and the two put all the boxes into the truck. However, it turns out the old man was trying to take boxes out of the truck and the two are horrified at what they did. The next day, Kuchipatchi announces that Patchiman will not be around anymore and he is relieved that he doesn't have to sneak around anymore.
Patchiman returns in "Happy! Shops at the School Festival / Terrible! The GOTCHIMAN and Hero Show" as a character in the class' superhero themed play. He teams up with MameGotchiman to defeat Hell Princess Makiko and Dark Flower X when they attack civilians.
