The Peanuts Tamagotchi is a licensed Tamagotchi Nano model based on the Peanuts franchise. It was announced on May 8th, 2025 for both Japan and the US, and is set to release on July 12th, 2025.
Background[]
Peanuts is a daily-syndicated comic strip written and illustrated by Charles M. Schulz that ran from October 1950 to January 2000. The comics follow the day-to-day activities of a cast of child characters, lead by the failure-prone Charlie Brown. Snoopy, a beagle owned by Charlie Brown, is also a character of prominence.
Schulz passed away a month after the strip ended, but Peanuts continues to enjoy global success through merchandise and animated adaptations, most prominently holiday-themed television specials, an animated film released in 2015 by the now-defunct Blue Sky Studios, and exclusive content for the Apple TV + streaming service.
Features[]
The user is tasked with raising Snoopy, Woodstock, and Harriet by feeding them and playing games. Depending on their level of care and what games were played, they will evolve into other characters. Charlie Brown and his friends will also appear through daily events.

Trivia[]
- The Peanuts Tamagotchi's year of announcement and release coincides with the Peanuts franchise's 75th Anniversary.
- As the Peanuts franchise is owned by Peanuts Worldwide LLC (in turn owned 41% by WildBrain, 39% by Sony Music Entertainment Japan, and 20% by the Charles M. Schulz estate), the Peanuts Tamagotchi is the third Nano model to be based on a western IP not owned by The Walt Disney Company, after the Harry Potter Tamagotchi and Jurassic World Tamagotchi.
