Rakugotchi (らくごっち Rakugotchi) is a teen-stage Tamagotchi who debuted on the Chou Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus in Japan.
Name Origin[]
Rakugo (落語, literally "fallen words") is a Japanese form of verbal entertainment where a storyteller sits on a pillow and, with a limited number of props and not being allowed to stand, tells long and complicated comedy stories.
Appearance[]
Rakugotchi resembles a small, round blob with white skin, a yellow beak, and a single strand of hair. It wears red robes with yellow lining, and is always seen sitting on two violet pillows and holding a paper fan.
Personality[]
Rakugotchi is a member of the Japanese Culture Preservation Society. Once it starts talking, no one can get it to stop, so all of its conversations are one-sided. It can't sit without its pillows.
