The Royal Servants (家来 kerai) are a group of servants who serve the Gotchi King and his family at the Gotchi King's Castle.
Appearance[]
All of the servants have short, egg-shaped bodies with white skin, pink beaks, and beady eyes. Their clothing consists of black and yellow striped breeches, and an ornamental feather plume. They are nearly identical, except for the color of the plume that they wear (pink, purple, blue, and green).
Personality[]
Almost always working on pairs or groups, they care for the Gotchi King and his family, assisting them with whatever they need. They're highly respected in the Tama community and loved by the Royal Family.
Role on Virtual Pets[]
Chou Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus[]
On the Chou Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus, they appear when the Tamagotchi has reached adulthood and applies for a job. Three of them appear and take a vote, with "O" for "yes", and "X" for "no". All three must vote "yes" for the Tamagotchi to get hired.
Tamagotchi Connection Version 4 & 4.5[]
On the Tamagotchi Connection Version 4 and Version 4.5, they appear when the Tamagotchi has reached adulthood and applies for a job. Three of them appear and take a vote, with "O" for "yes", and "X" for "no". All three must vote "yes" for the Tamagotchi to get hired.
Tamagotchi Connection Version 5 & Version 5 Celebrity[]
On the Tamagotchi Connection Version 5 and V5 Celebrity, they appear when two Tamagotchis connect and play the music game. Their ranking determines which Tamagotchi wins the game.
A pair of servants appear on the Version 5 when using the Gotchi King DVD. On the V5 Celebrity, they appear in one idle animation for the Gotchi King Family, when the Gotchi King is sitting at his throne.
Tamagotchi School[]
On the Tamagotchi School toys, a pair of Servants appear as student #39. They can only be obtained through connecting the toy to a TamaStation arcade machine.
Music Star & TamaTown Tama-Go[]
On the Tamagotchi Music Star and TamaTown Tama-Go, they reprise their role on the V5 when connecting and playing the Music Game, if either toy connects to a V5/Celebrity.
Tamagotchi Plus Color[]
On the Tamagotchi Plus Color, one Servant, wearing a wolf costume, appears when LoveZukintchi uses the Storybook item and reenacts Little Red Riding Hood.
Tamagotchi m!x[]
Royal Servants typically appear as generic NPCs throughout the device, mainly during item animations or scenes with several NPCs at a time. The user plays as one during the Best★Shot minigame exclusive to the 20th Anniversary version, and they show up amongst the Royal Family at Gotchi King's Castle on both it and the Gift versions.
Servants also appear in the menu options for the clock, brightness and sound settings.
Tamagotchi On[]
Royal Servants appear as NPCs throughout My Town, during item animations and as wedding guests whenever the user's Tamagotchi gets married. They also appear as patrons during the Library minigame on the Fantasy and Wonder Garden versions, as well as customers during the Taiyaki minigame on the Sweets version. One also appears as a delivery worker whenever the user sends app items to the device.
Like the m!x, Servants also appear in the menu options for the clock, brightness and sound settings.
Tamagotchi Pix[]
Royal Servants appear as NPCs during some item animations. A purple Royal Servant can also be met in the Explore mode when scanning the color white, and he is referred to simply as "Attendant".
Like the m!x and On, Servants also appear throughout the brightness, sound, and clock settings.
Tamagotchi Smart[]
From the Smart onwards, the role that Royal Servants typically held as generic NPCs was instead given to nameless Shirotamas; though, Royal Servants can still be seen in the Square during a special animation that occurs on November 23rd, which lines up with the Tamagotchi franchise's birthday. A purple Royal Servant may also appear as a customer during the Food Delivery and Remember Drink minigames.
Tamagotchi Uni[]
Despite Shirotamas (now referred to as White Tamas) once again taking the role as generic NPCs on the Uni, a Royal Servant can still be found in the Tamaverse if the user uploads an outfit to Tama Fashion and checks back on it later. They complement the outfit and tell the user that they would buy it.
A purple Royal Servant—referred to as "Attendant" like on the Pix—can also appear during Tama Search. When visiting his house, he has the Minimalist room and furniture set.

They have large, round heads with lean bodies, pink beaks, chubby arms, stick legs, black and yellow striped breeches, and they emit a blue Ura glow. One version is short and yellow, while the other is tall and blue. They serve Big Boss Gotchi.
Seasonal Servants[]
Four variations of the Servants appear in the Tamagotchi! Data Carddass trading cards. There is one for each season, and they serve the ruler of that respective season.
- Spring Servants (とこはる家来 Tokoharu Kerai) resemble the standard servant but with wings, a green beak, a flower on top of its head instead a plume, and the stripes on the breeches are horizontal. They serve Queen Urarachou.
- Tropical Servants (とこなつ家来 Tononatsu Kerai) resemble the standard servant but with a red body, the stripes on the breeches are green instead of yellow, and they have palm trees on their head. They serve Tanetameha the Great.
- Autumn Servants (とこあき家来 Tokoaki Kerai) resemble acorns with a nest around their waist with stubby arms and legs, leaves, and a pink beak. One is a light brown with a red plume, and the other is dark brown with a green plume. They serve King of Kingly.
- Winter Servants resemble snowmen with pink beaks, a blue plume on their head, stubby arms, and their breeches resemble a white cloud with a snowflake on the front. They serve Queen Tsurara.
