Salon, known as Beauty Salon (ビューティサロン Byūti Saron) in Japan, is a location on Tama Resort Island that appeared on the Tamagotchi On.
Appearance[]
The Salon is an area where various shops that pursue "beauty" such as hair and makeup, cosmetics, perfume, body care, spas, etc are concentrated. Top staff from each industry gather here and tourists can enjoy a very luxurious service. It seems the Salon is always pursuing the idea of being cutting edge and the appearance of the stores are constantly changing.

Tamagotchi On[]
The Salon is a location available on most versions of the On except Sanrio, Fantasy, and Sweets. To unlock it, the user's Tamagotchi (2nd generation onward) must change color twice in the same life stage. The color change must be through eating a color changing food 5 times consecutively. The Tamagotchi will go outside and follow two stylish Tamagotchis into town, stopping once they run into Psychetchi and Chictchi who invites them to the salon. Unlocking the salon also unlocks the Beauty icon theme.
- Park: Exclusive residents can be talked to and played with here. If Memetchi is currently being raised, or the other residents are the mother of the user's Tamagotchi they will not appear.
- Shop: White Tourcontchi runs the nameless shop here. It sells meals, snacks, items and accessory wearables as part of the Tourcontchi Chain. All standard items and accessories are sold at every Tourcontchi chain shop and at the Tama Depa Store.

- Salon: Psychetchi will give the tamagotchi a hairstyle which will only last for the short animation.
- Propose: The Tamagotchi can propose to a resident if they have a ring.
