Shelltchi (しぇるっち Sherutchi) is a female teen-stage Tamagotchi character that debuted on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 5.
Name Origin[]
Shelltchi's name comes from the English word "shell", a hard outer layer created by a sea creature that is often seen on beaches.
Appearance[]
Shelltchi looks like a white shell with pink cheeks and stick arms and legs. Her head appears to be full of water, and she is usually shown with two drops of water coming out.
Personality[]
Shelltchi is a charming, stylish Tamagotchi who loves beads. She is often found near beaches. Her shell opens when something surprises her.

She is one of the two teen-stage characters in the Easygoing Family. She evolves from Tororotchi, but can also evolve from Sakuramotchi or Belltchi with high Easygoing Training. Her adult evolution is determined by her Bonding and training. If no Training occurs, she evolves into Easygoing Family adults by default.
- With low bonding (0%-30%) she will evolve into Potetchi. With medium bonding (40%-70%), she will evolve into Yonepatchi, and with high bonding (80%-100%), she will evolve into HotTeatchi.
- With Smart training, Shelltchi will evolve into LoveZukintchi with low bonding, Violetchi with medium bonding, or Chantotchi with high bonding.
- With Cheerful training, she will evolve into Watatchi with low bonding, Onputchi with medium bonding, or Memetchi with high bonding.

She is one of the two teen-stage characters in the Artistic Family. She evolves from Tororotchi, but can also evolve from Sakuramotchi or Belltchi with high Easygoing training. Her adult evolution is determined by her bonding and training. If no training occurs, she evolves into Artistic Family adults by default.
- With low bonding (0%-30%) she will evolve into HotTeatchi. With medium bonding (40%-70%), she will evolve into Chandelitchi, and with high bonding (80%-100%), she will evolve into Uranaitchi.
- With Sociable training, Shelltchi will evolve into Chantotchi with low bonding, Rosetchi with medium bonding, or Megamitchi with high bonding.
- With Active training, she will evolve into Memetchi with low bonding, Anesantchi with medium bonding, or Princess Tamako with high bonding.
