Shimashimatchi (しましまっち Shimashimatchi), also referred to as Simasimatchi, is a male adult Tamagotchi character that debuted on the Chou Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus in Japan and on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 4 internationally.

Appearance

Shimashimatchi is yellow with black stripes, somewhat resembling a bumble bee. He also has pink cheeks and small round orange feet and ears. When he gets angry, his stripes turn to zig-zags.

Personality

Shimashimatchi loves striped things and collects all kinds of striped objects, and he wishes more people liked stripes. However, he can't stand polka dots. He used to wear striped clothes until he realized he could paint his body.

Shimashimatchi appears on the 20th Anniversary and Gift versions. During the First Generation, he evolves from any male teen with 7 or more care mistakes. Shimashimatchi does not appear in any town, therefore making his genetics available only during the first generation.

Let's Go! Tamagotchi

Shimashimatchi appears as one of Mametchi's classmates at Tamagotchi School. He is a minor character, and he usually only appears as a background character. His Japanese voice actor is Hibi Aiko.

It is suggested that he may be friends with Yattatchi, Zukyutchi, and Kuchipatchi.

Tamagotchi!

Once again, Shimashimatchi is only a minor character, and he can sometimes be seen at Tamagotchi School.

Name Origin

Shimashimatchi's name comes from the Japanese word shima, which means stripe.
