Synopsis[]
Eggification continues to spread across Tamagotchi Planet. Meanwhile, Papamametchi, who was investigating the phenomenon of eggification, finds a mysterious letter from the wall clock of the Tamagotchi Research Institute. The letter is from the past addressed to Mametchi from a certain Tamagotchi...
Plot[]
Telelin enthusistically greets good morning to Lovelitchi and Melodytchi. When she tries to do the same for Kizunatchi, she is surprised to see her fall to the ground after struggling to stay flying. Lovelitchi notices she has a fever and puts her to bed so she can rest. At Mamemame Laboratory, Papamametchi is intensely focusing on his work to find a cure for the Eggification curse. A cuckoo clock behind him suddenly starts functioning and the bird inside zips out holding a scroll of paper. Papamametchi reads the paper and seems to recognize something important on the second page.
At the Mame Family house, Chamametchi and Hapihapitchi draw a picture of their family. Mamametchi thanks them for the drawing and Chamametchi complains about not having seen Papamametchi at all in the past few days. Mamametchi asks her to wait a little longer as Papamametchi is doing something important and suggests that he will spend a lot of time with her when he's done. The scene changes to the Tama-friends in Lovelitchi's room worrying about Kizunatchi. Kuchipatchi suggests talking to Hatokamitchi for ways to help Kizunatchi and everyone agrees with this idea. Suddenly, Mametchi gets a call from Papamametchi asking him to come to Mamemame Lab for something important. Kizunatchi announces that she's coming with him as she wants to see what it is.
The Tama-friends make it to the lab and Papamametchi reads them the paper from earlier. The letter is from Mamemametchi, the Tamagotchi Mametchi and friends have met went they were accidentally transported to the past. Mamemametchi had written a message saying that he has found a mysterious plate that he felt the Tama-friends would need during a tense time. The plate is hidden in the laboratory and the letter gives a few clues to its location.
Everyone follows the clues, leading them to the lab's library. Papamametchi notices a book from Mamemametchi and pulls it out to reveal a secret passage leading into a room full of ancient artifacts. Meanwhile, at the Tamamori Shop, Moriritchi is still feeling down from her Tamamori being rejected by eggified Tamagotchis. Anemoriritchi comes in with a box of red bandanas and Moriritchi is disappointed seeing them. She suggests using the bandanas in Tamamori fashion, but Anemoriritchi turns her down and says the eggified Tamagotchis only want simple bands. After Anemoriritchi sells a bandana to a customer, Pashalin points out to Moriritchi that her older sister has turned to an egg.
Back at the lab, the group search the room for the mysterious plate. Melodytchi hears wind and leaves rustling and goes to a stone mural on the wall with a crack in it. Papamametchi recognizes the bird decorating the mural as the bird that gave him the letter. Mametchi touches the bird and the entire mural recedes to reveal a passageway into a room full of bean plants. As they walk through the room, Mametchi spots the machine he built with Mamemametchi and realizes that Mamemametchi must have hidden the plate nearby in something small that could be enlarged with the machine. Lovelitchi finds a small glowing cube containing the plate and Mametchi uses the machine to bring it back to normal size.
The Light plate floats in the air and releases the Light Tama Heart. Kizunatchi flies near it and feels better, having been rejuvenated by its energy. She explains that the plate must have been formed after Mamemametchi was helped by Mametchi and friends and that he saved it all this time for them to find. Lovelitchi and Melodytchi then collect the heart in their Tama Profys.
The Tama-friends leave the lab at night and cheerfully say goodnight to each other. However, the next few scenes show the Tama-friends coming home to their families transformed into eggs as they stare at them in horror.
