Solved! Lovelin & Telelin's First Case (解決! ラブリン & テルリン最初の事件 Kaiketsu! Raburin & Terurin saisho no jiken) is part 2 of episode 31 of Tamagotchi!
Synopsis[]
Telelin received an intimidating e-mail saying, "Lovelin is being held onto." The two friends are swayed by e-mails coming in one after the other. Who is the sender? Will Lovelin and Telelin find the culprit?[1]
Plot[]
Lovelitchi and Telelin are walking down Tama Street when Telelin gets a message from an unknown contact. The message says that Lovelin is being held onto and that they better come to her with Gotchi Points before it's too late. The two initially laugh it off before completely panicking and registering what the message said. Telelin tries to call Lovepapalitchi for help, but there's no answer as he is not in the Photo Studio. As Telelin continues freaking out, Lovelitchi gets her to calm down and figure out who the message could be from.
Telelin then gets another message saying that if they don't come to Donuts Park in time, the sender will scribble all over Lovelin with a pen that is difficult to wash off. The two are bewildered by the threat, but Lovelitchi tells Telelin that they should investigate into who the sender is and that they should stake out Donuts Park. However, at the park they can't find anyone who looks suspicious. As they continue looking, Telelin once again gets a message, this time saying that Lovelin will get an ugly top knot stuck on them and that the sender has moved to Tamagotchi School.
The two make their way to Tamagotchi School, but don't see anyone there. Lovelitchi tells Telelin to respond to the message so they can hear the sender's phone ring. Telelin is hesistant, but sends a message asking the sender to not scribble on Lovelin or stick a top knot on her. After a few seconds, they hear an alert from a nearby phone and a disappointed voice.
The voice turns out to be from Atsuatsutchi who was sitting near the gym with a dog Tama Pet and a Lovelin doll. Lovelitchi figures out that it was Atsuatsutchi accidentally sending the messages to her phone number instead of his older sister's. Atsuatsutchi explains that he befriended the dog, which he named Noratchitchi, while walking in the rain yesterday and brought them to his house. He was afraid that his mom would not approve of him doing this so he hid Noratchitchi in his closet. However, his sister found them and told him that mom would never let him keep Noratchitchi, upsetting Atsuatsutchi and causing him to run away from home. As they ran away, Noratchitchi took his sister's Lovelin doll with them.
Atsuatsutchi decided that he and the dog would live on their own, but knew they needed money. Thus, he decided to send threats about the Lovelin doll to his sister in the hopes she would give him the money he saved up in exchange for the doll. After hearing the story, Lovelitchi is relieved and tells Atsuatsutchi that she thought the real Lovelin was in danger to which Atsuatsutchi apologizes for. As it turns into the later afternoon, Atsuatsutchi's stomach growls and Lovelitchi encourages him to go home so his family isn't worried. She adds that she will go with him so they can properly ask if he can keep Noratchitchi and explain why he ran away.
Atsuatsutchi's mother and sister are then heard calling out for him and he runs over to them, hugging his mom and returning the Lovelin doll to his sister. He apologizes for running away, but hesitates on saying anything else. With Lovelitchi's encouragement, he tells his mom that he found Noratchitchi and wants to keep him, promising to take very good care of him. To his surprise, his mom says it's okay as long as he keeps his promise of taking good care of Noratchitchi. Atsuatsutchi and Noratchitchi then happily hug each other.
The last scene shows Lovelitchi and Telelin walking down Tama Street again, this time musing about how they made a good detective team and what team name they should have.
