Sunopotchi (すのぽっち Sunopotchi) is an adult male Tamagotchi that debuted in the Tamagotchi! anime. He first appeared as a raisable character on the Tamagotchi iD L, and later appeared on Tamagotchi 4U as a downloadable character.
Name Origin[]
Sunopotchi's name may come from suno (スノ), the Japanese pronunciation of the English word snow, and nonopo, for his hometown North North Point. His name could also be a pun on the word sunobo, which means "snowboard".

Appearance[]
He resembles a penguin, like his cousin Nonopotchi. His body is blue, and his stomach area and face area are white. He wears a green hat, yellow goggles with a red band, and a brown scarf.
Personality[]
Sunopotchi is very good at sports, especially skateboarding. He is usually seen carrying his skateboard, and he even rides it inside Tamagotchi School. His classmates like to watch him perform stunts. He ends all his sentences with "nopo".

Sunopotchi evolves from Happabouyatchi with less than two care mistakes. On the Princess Spacy and 15th Anniversary versions, he evolves from Bokuhoshitchi and Sunnytchi respectively with two or three care mistakes. He likes ikuradon, frappe, and the faceguard accessory.
Tamagotchi 4U/4U+[]
Sunopotchi was available to download from Touch Spots in the toy department of Bic Camera stores, which is an electronics retailer in Japan. His favorite food is pizza, and his favorite items are the soccer ball and snowboard. He dislikes cream stew, apples, and the Oyaji bromide.
Tamagotchi m!x[]
Sunopotchi was a m!x station guest in fall 2017. He could be befriended and married.
Tamagotchi Meets[]
Sunopotchi was a Meets station guest in winter 2018. He could be befriended and married. One of his favorite foods is Sky Bread from Fairy Land. His favorite accessories are the Sunglasses and the Pet Balloon given by Fairytchi.
In the Anime[]
Tamagotchi![]
Sunopotchi enrolled in Tamagotchi School with other Tamagotchi iD L characters in "New Members? To Class Suddenly". He introduced himself by riding his skateboard into Grippatchi's classroom, impressing everyone. Mametchi and Kuromametchi were quick to befriend him. He joins Mametchi and friends in "Very Good in the Tamamo Room!" when they visit the Tamamori Shop to design their own tamamo rooms. While the girls worked on their own rooms, Sunoptchi, Mametchi, and Kuchipatchi collaborated on one room and ended up giving it a theme involving Gotchiman, food, and sports.
In "Wasshoi! TAMAX-TV Festival / Dodonto! Big Gathering of Popular Programs", he enjoys the TAMAX-TV festival with Pompomtchi and Nachuratchi, buying bread from the Thief Papillon stand and exploring the Vampire Mametchi set. Sunpotchi consults the Himespe Phone in "Premonition Commotion!? Himespe Phone Fortune-Telling" and asks what kind of sport he should do that day. It tells him he should do skateboarding and he is later seen skateboarding near TamaCafe. He ends up crashing into a pole when Mametchi tries to get his attention.
Sunopotchi and Debatchi were one of the first Tamagotchis to get the Egg Curse in "The Mysterious Beginning of the Vanishing Tama-Hearts". He and every other Tamagotchi were restored back to normal in "The Power of the Bond" when the curse was broken.
