Synopsis[]
The new office building of TAMAX-TV has been built and the unveiling ceremony will be held soon. TamaPtchi leads the brand new broadcast, but things go awry and the future of Tamagotchi Planet is seemingly in trouble. Can Mametchi, Tomomi, and Kizunatchi fix things before it's too late?
Plot[]
At night in TamaCafe, Tomomi flips through her profile book and muses about Lovelitchi and Melodytchi. She looks at her phone and says that the time on it has been frozen ever since she got transported to Tamagotchi Planet. At the Spacy Brother's base, Spacytchi sneezes and shivers, noting that he has a feeling something bad is going to happen.
The next day, a large crowd gathers at TAMAX-TV to celebrate its new renovation. As the Tama-friends talk about what they're looking forwards in regards to TAMAX-TV's new building, Lovelitchi notices Tomomi looking less happy than usual. She asks her what's wrong and Tomomi reassures her that she's okay. TamaPtchi then starts the ceremony and tries to pull down the cloak hiding the new TAMAX-TV building, falling into ADtchi in the process. Once the building is revealed, TamaPtchi talks about the new look inside the building and points out the star shaped satellite on top, noting that its signals can reach all of Tamagotchi Planet now.
When TamaPtchi presses a button to activate the satellite, it glows for a bit before turning off. He repeatedly pushes the button to turn it back on to no avail and Mametchi eventually offers to take a look at the problem. ADtchi, Tomomi, and Kizunatchi follow him inside to the control room where he diagnoses the problem. He states that the power for the main unit needs to be fully activated for the satellite to work and pushes the lever all the way. As the main unit powers up, Tomomi's phone starts ringing and the signal pictured on the machine also appears on her phone's screen.
Outside the building, the crowd enjoys the food stands at the celebration. Melodytchi then calls Lovelitchi's attention to the satellite where a pink sparkling light is glowing brightly. The light spreads from the satellite and envelops everyone around the building, causing them to panic and run away. As the light completely covers Tamagotchi Planet, everyone in the control room but ADtchi is covered by a sphere of blue light. After the light fades, it's revealed that everyone and everything outside of the blue sphere of light has been frozen in time. Mametchi accidentally knocks down ADtchi and is shocked to see him not move. When Mametchi, Tomomi, and Kizunatchi run outside to see what happened, the situation becomes clear to their horror.
Mametchi states that their chance of fixing the issue probably lies back at the control room and they return there. He says that if he can power the main unit again, then time should move normally. Kizunatchi worries that they could mess up time even more, aging everyone or making them turn into babies, but Mametchi says they have no other option. He pushes the lever again, but nothing happens as the power to the main unit is dead. Mametchi then has Tomomi and Kizunatchi gather a few items in TAMAX-TV so he can repower the machine. Tomomi grabs a power cord from Kakiwaritchi's set and accidentally knocks down a support. Kizunatchi grabs a hair dryer from Stylitchi and replaces it with a bottle of ketchup. Mametchi grabs TamaPtchi's microphone, but in the process manages to knock Moriritchi's Tamamori off, get a candy apple stuck in Memetchi's hair, and place Pashalin and Telelin in Kuchipatchi's hands.
Everyone returns to the control room and Mametchi fixes up the main unit with the items. He pushes the lever, but the machine only powers up halfway before turning off again to Mametchi's dismay. Tomomi then remembers that her phone rang and was displaying the same signal as the main unit before time had froze. Mametchi looks at her phone and theorizes that its signal must have had an effect on the satellite's signal, causing it stop time because the time on Tomomi's phone was frozen. He asks Tomomi if he can use the phone to fix the signal, warning that it may destroy the phone in the process. Tomomi tells him to go ahead as she does not want to be trapped in frozen time forever.
After hooking the phone to the main unit and powering it on, the same pink light from before envelops all of Tamagotchi Planet. Time resumes and the actions of Mametchi, Tomomi, and Kizunatchi start to have consequences. Kuchipatchi is safely holding Telelin and Pashalin, Memetchi is upset about the candy apple stuck to her hair, Moriritchi freaks out about her ruined Tamamori, Stylitchi squirts ketchup all over Madonnatchi and angers her, and Kakiwaritchi's set collapses on him. The celebrations continue with Lovelin and Melodytchi performing Happy Happy Harmony inside the building. As Mametchi watches away from the crowd he notices Tomomi staring at her phone; time has also resumed on it.
