Surprise Wedding Party! (サプライズウェディングパーティー! Sapuraizu uedingu pātī!) is episode 125 of Tamagotchi!.
Synopsis[]
After looking through Lovelitchi's family photo albums and learning Lovemamalitchi and Lovepapalitchi's wedding party was quite small and humble due to their tight budget, Lovelitchi and Melodytchi decide to throw them a surprise wedding party with the help of the Tama-Friends.
Plot[]
At TamaCafe, Lovelitchi is looking through her childhood photo album while Melodytchi and her parents watch TV. Melodytchi takes notice and asks to see the photographs. Seeing the old pictures of Lovelitchi's parents together, Melodytchi asks to see their wedding album, and begins to talk about her parents' wedding ceremony having been a large extravagant party with Joou Sama herself appearing. Telelin and Kizunatchi agree that they would like to see it, and Lovelitchi's parents give in, though they warn them that they were quite young and poor at the time, so their wedding wasn't very impressive. They show the girls the photos of their wedding ceremony, having taken place at a small chapel with Lovepapalitchi wearing a suit borrowed from his friend and Lovemamalitchi simply wearing her favorite dress, and the party having only been the two of them enjoying two slices of strawberry shortcake at a nearby cafe in lieu of a wedding cake. Lovemamalitchi tells them that their memories of that day are precious to her and Lovepapalitchi despite how humble they were.
Later that night, Lovelitchi comments on how happy her parents seemed in the wedding photos, but laments that she wishes she could have seen her mother in a wedding dress. Kizunatchi then suggests that they should give her one, which gives Lovelitchi the idea to throw her parents a surprise wedding party to give them the big celebration they never had. The next day, Lovelitchi and Melodytchi recruit their friends in helping them set up the party. They ask Himespetchi to use her phone to determine when they should hold the party, and it's decided that they'll hold it next Sunday. Moriritchi then invites them to hold the party on the roof of the Tamamori Shop.
At the Tamamori Shop, Lovelitchi and Melodytchi consult Anemoriritchi for advice on designing the wedding dress and wedding suit respectively. She has them draw up rough drafts for the outfits, and she tells them they look great and they should start making the final patterns. However, they're missing the measurements and can't make the outfits without them. They ask Mametchi for help, and he gives them a bracelet which will measure the body of whoever the wearer hugs, which Lovelitchi easily does.
At Tamagotchi School, the Tama-friends talk about their plans for the party and and Kuchipatchi questions what kind of cake they should make. Spacytchi and his brothers eavesdrop on their conversation and come to the conclusion that they must be celebrating their own plans to take over Tamagotchi Planet before he can. The scene changes to show the Tama-friends busy working on decorating the rooftop for the party. At night, Lovelitchi and Melodytchi work on sewing the wedding dress and suit for Lovelitchi's parents. Lovemamalitchi comes into the room and they hide everything at the last second, with Telelin and Kizunatchi nearly giving everything away before being hushed by Lovelitchi and Melodytchi.
The next day, Lovepapalitchi tells everyone that he's going to TAMAX-TV to take pictures from the top of the building. This causes Lovelitchi and Melodytchi to worry as he could see the Tamamori Shop's rooftop from up there and ruin the surprise. They relay the news to their friends who become shocked. Luckily, Mametchi creates a tarp that can disguise the rooftop and make it appear empty. The Tama-friends manage to cover the rooftop before Lovepapalitchi is able to take a close look at it from TAMAX-TV. With the secret safe, everyone spends the rest of the day decorating the rooftop and finishing the wedding outfits.
The day after that, Melodytchi brings Lovemamalitchi and Lovepapalitchi to the Tamagotchi Department Store the next day so everyone can use the kitchen at TamaCafe to bake a wedding cake. As Melodytchi asks them for help to find a gift for her parents, asking what they think would be a good gift for eachother under the pretense it would be a gift for her own parents. While Melodytchi is out with Lovelitchi's parents, the Tama-friends bake the cake and bring it over to the Tamamori Shop. Melodytchi and Lovelitchi's parents finish shopping and end up at the shop where Melodytchi asks them to come to the Tamamori Shop. When they arrive, the Tama-friends surprise them and give them their wedding outfits and presents which turn out to be a necklace and cuff links. They then bring in the wedding cake and Lovemamalitchi is touched as the cake reminds her of the cake she shared with Lovepapalitchi on their wedding day.
As they enjoy the cake, the Spacy brothers spy on them and comment that the party looks fun. Mametchi notices them and Moriritchi invites the brothers to celebrate and enjoy the cake with them. As the party goes on, Lovelitchi and Melodytchi perform a special rendition of Smile For Tomorrow. During the performance, scenes are shown of Lovepapalitchi and Lovemamalitchi meeting and dating for the first time. When the song is finished, Lovemamalitchi thanks everyone and a Tama Heart appears between her and Lovepapalitchi. The heart is revealed as the Cake Heart and Lovelitchi collects it on her Tama Profy. Everyone then takes a group picture, but Lovepapalitchi trips as the camera takes a snapshot, just as he had on their wedding day.
