Taikotchi (たいこっち Taikotchi) is a female adult character that first appeared in the anime Tamagotchi! Yume Kira Dream. She was released as a raisable character on the Melody Land pierce for the Tamagotchi P's.
Name Origin[]
Taiko (たいこ) translates to drum, signifying Taikotchi's similarity to a drum. Outside Japan, taiko is frequently used for a particular Japanese-style drum.
Appearance[]
Taikotchi has a light pink color face and head, with a red hat on top, and bead string bow earings. Her tummy has heart shapes and the second layer has yellow lining.
Personality[]
She's a solid, dependable friend who loves music. Her belly is actually a taiko drum, so she can play the drum wherever she goes to cheer up her friends.

Tamagotchi P's[]
Taikotchi is exclusive to the Melody Land pierce. She can be obtained from any female teen by eating Drum Gratin 3 times.
Tamagotchi Uni[]
Taikotchi appears as a NPC with the Cymbal Brothers for one of the Smapi's item animations exclusive to the LoveMelo ♪ Concert location on the Tamagotchi Uni.

Tamagotchi! Yume Kira Dream[]
Taikotchi first appeared in "I'll Carve Out! Beat of the Soul". She lives in Melody Land and is very good friends with Pianitchi. She can hit parts of her stomach to make various drum sounds. Because of this, Pianitchi offered for her to be a drum player in the Kira Kira Girls band, but Taikotchi declined because she would rather not leave Melody Land. So, Taikotchi taught Himespetchi how to play the drums instead.
GO-GO Tamagotchi![]
When Pianitchi returns to Melody Land with Melodytchi and Lovelitchi in "Try to Find! Rainbow Clover", Taikotchi saw them walking the bridge. She talks about the people on the love boats and later attends the three girls' concert.
