Taiyakitchi (たいやきっち) is an adult Sakanatchi character that debuted on the Tamagotchi Ocean.

"Taiyaki" is a type of Japanese cake that is baked into the shape of a fish and filled with bean paste.
Appearance[]
Taiyakitchi resembles a tan-colored fish with large eyes, thick eyebrows, and pink lips.
Personality[]
Taiyakitchi left the ocean to voyage on the land, but never could get the salt-water out of its veins, and so it returned to the Tamagotchi Ocean. Its tummy is filled with red bean paste, made from fresh azuki beans from Hokkaido. As a result, its tummy is always surrounded by hungry baby and child fish who have a sweet tooth. Because it was popular at a Taiyaki stand in Kyushuu, it speaks with a Kyushuu accent. Its best friend is another taiyaki whose tummy is filled with cheese sauce. It is said to be distantly related to Ashigyotchi.

Taiyakitchi can evolve from Otototchi after 47 hours with slightly imperfect care, or from Kingyotchi after 30 hours with perfect care. It sleeps from 8pm to 9am.

- Taiyakitchi has some resemblance to Monatototchi.
- Taiyakitchi's sprite is identical to that of Ashigyotchi, but without the legs.
- Taiyakitchi is one of two characters on the Tamagotchi Ocean to not have debuted in Game de Hakken!! Tamagotchi 2, the other being Ningyotchi.
