Tama Guinness Challenge-datchi! (たまギネスに挑戦だっち Tama ginesu ni chōsendatchi!) is episode 104 of Tamagotchi!.
Synopsis[]
It's Thanksgiving at the Tamamori Shop and parents and their children are participating in the "Parent-Child Tamamori Contest". Seeing all the happy families makes Melodytchi feel lonely and homesick so Kuchipatchi and Tomomi invite her to challenge Guinness with her hometown's special "Sachertorte".
Plot[]
The Tamamori Shop is holding a celebration and many Tamagotchis are seen enjoying the festivities. Lovelitchi and Moriritchi are selling cafe food, Tomomi is performing a magic show, and Gozarutchi is running a soccer game. On the rooftop of the Tamamori Shop, Lovepapalitchi, Papamametchi, Papapatchi, and Kuchipatchi are enjoying drinks while playing golf. Anemoriritchi then invites all visitors to come inside the shop to watch the "Parent-Child Tamamori Contest" with Lovelitchi, Memetchi, and the Chibipatchis participating with their mothers and siblings. Mamapatchi and the Chibipatchis win with their food themed Tamamori and Melodytchi wistfully admires them, thinking about her mom back in Melody Land.
At Tamagotchi School, Melodytchi is deep in thought while looking out a window, assuring Doremitchi and Sopratchi that nothing is wrong with her. Kuchipatchi and Tomomi notice her and decide to cheer her up by inviting her to eat sweets around Tamagotchi Town. This works to make Melodytchi happy and the two are glad they could make her feel better. While walking down Tama Street, Melodytchi picks up a Tama Guinness World Record book and is impressed by the world record for the biggest cake. She wishes she could have a giant Sachertorte cake like her mom's and Kuchipatchi exclaims that they should try to break the world record by making the cake themselves.
The three go around enlisting Mametchi, Memetchi, and Moriritchi's help for the task and everyone gathers in Donuts Park where a Tama Guinness judge is waiting to measure the cake. Meanwhile, Lovelitchi is working at TAMAX-TV and is talking to Kizunatchi on her Tama Profy. When she performs Happy Heart live, Telelin and the Tama Profy are left behind in another room. Kizunatchi complains about wanting a better view and Telelin holds up the Profy so she she can see better. Back at Donuts Park, the Tama-friends work hard to prepare the ingredients for the cake. Once the cake is baked, Kuchipatchi uses Mametchi's machine to pour on the chocolate icing. However, the machine runs out of icing halfway through and Mametchi apologizes profusely, having miscalculated the amount of icing they needed.
Memetchi suggests using cream to cover the rest of the cake, but Kuchipatchi insists that the cake needs to covered in chocolate icing to keep it a Sachertorte cake. Kuchipatchi and Tomomi then run off to gather more chocolate. Kuchipatchi collects all the chocolate from his house and Tomomi goes to the Tama Bakery to ask for their supply of chocolate. The two run into the rest of the group on Tama Street and sadly note that they still don't have enough chocolate for the decorations. Mametchi then gets an idea and the scene changes to everyone in front of Mametchi's Chocolate Making Machine at TAMAX-TV. Melodytchi powers the machine by playing Happy Heart on her violin and the machine gives them music note shaped chocolate.
At Donuts Park, the Tama-friends finish the cake by covering the rest of it in chocolate icing and decorating it with the chocolate from Mametchi's machine. The judge measures the cake and says it's a few inches short of the world record, but Kuchipatchi tells him to include the music note decoration on top of the cake. The judge then adjusts the measurement and tells everyone that they have broken the world record and they all cheer. Tomomi and Kuchipatchi address Melodytchi and tell her that they created the giant Sachertorte cake to cheer her up by reminding her of mom's cake. Melodytchi is touched by this and a Kizuna Tama Heart appears above her. Kizunatchi senses the heart and moves to Melodytchi's Tama Profy to help her collect it. After playing the Melody Charm, it turns into the Choco Tama Heart and goes inside the Profy.
Everyone at the park then grabs a piece of the cake and enjoys it. At night at the TamaCafe, Tomomi wonders how everyone on Earth is doing.
