The Tama Portal is a location within the Tamaverse on the Tamagotchi Uni. Through the portal, the user can visit a downloaded location and access additional raisable characters, an event spot, minigame, food, items, accessories, furniture, and rooms.
Function[]
In order to download a location, the ticket for it must be bought from the Tamaverse Ticket Shop website first. Once an account is registered on the website and a ticket is bought, a download code will be sent to the the email used for registering the account along with directions for inputting the code in the Uni.
Only one code and its content can be loaded on the Tamagotchi Uni at a time, and each code can only be linked with up to 3 Uni devices. The code is able to be used an unlimited amount of time with any Smart device it's linked to. If the user obtains an adult exclusive to the content, its data cannot be removed until the next generation, or if the character runs away or dies.
Each downloaded location currently contains six raisable characters which are obtained by using items or food exclusive to the location. There is also an event spot where an animation will play out, a minigame, and a shop that sells food, items, accessories, rooms, and furniture. Asides from a few exceptions, most tickets cost 900¥ (6 USD).

Very Berry Land[]

One of two locations available on March 21 2024, Very Berry Land has a baked sweets and candy theme. The ticket is free as a trial for Tamaverse tickets.

One of two locations available on March 21 2024, LoveMelo ♪ Concert is themed after music.

- Main Stage: An animation of the characters performing a concert will play.
- Happy Happy Harmony Game: As Lovelin and Melodytchi perform Happy Happy Harmony, the user must press the A, B, and C buttons as notes come down from the top of the screen in time to the music.

Sanrio Characters is a Sanrio themed location that released July 13, 2024. A ticket to the location allows the Tamagotchi to visit Puroland and the user to raise a few of the base characters dressed as Sanrio characters. The ticket costs 7.20 USD.

- Ribbon Jump ♪: The player controls their Tamagotchi by pressing buttons in the correct order so they can keep jumping on a bow shaped trampoline.

PokoPea Land is based on the VRChat world PokoPea Land, an amusement park created by the Vtuber Ponpoko. The ticket is set to release on December 5th, 2024. A ticket to the location allows the user to raise Ponpoko and various characters from her franchise, along with Oyajitchi who is dressed as Peanuts-kun.

- Pokopea Monument: An animation of PokoPea and friends putting on a parade will play.

- The Tama Portal was initially closed and did not open until March 19, 2024, approximately nine months after launch. Prior to its opening a White Tama in construction gear (added in an update in November 20, 2023) would be working at the location, telling the user that construction is underway. After an update in January, the White Tama would say that construction is close to finishing.
- The area was initially called Area Gate at launch until the first update changed the name to "???".
- The Tama Portal locations are similar in function to the TamaSma Cards used for the Tamagotchi Smart with a few differences:
- Locations offer more content than a standard smart card with 2 more raisable adults, 2 more accessories, 4 furniture pieces, and an event space. However, Smart Cards have four rooms compared to the locations' two and come with four watch faces which locations don't have at all.
- All food, items, accessories, and rooms are not free and must be bought at the location's shop. To compensate, prices at the shop are slightly lower than the prices at the Tama Mall and Tama Delivery. Food and items also fill up more hearts.
- All content must be accessed at the location while Smart Cards added their content to the base Tamagotchi Smart's shops.
- Angel Festival and Monster Carnival add additional changes asides from the general ticket content:
- A themed Tama Pet that appears when furniture from the ticket is placed outside.
- Raisable characters from the ticket having an unique evolution animation. Angel characters will be surrounded by angels upon evolving while monster characters will be surrounded by bats instead.
- Raisable characters from the ticket having an unique death sequence. Angel characters are carried away by four Chestnut Angels instead of two. For monster characters two Grim Gotchis will chase away the Chestnut Angels and take the Tamagotchi away instead.
