Tamagotchi: The Original Virtual Reality Pet Record Book was published in Australia in 1997. It seems to be the Australian equivalent of the American book, Tamagotchi: The Official Care Guide and Record Book. It is a paperback book with information about the Tamagotchi P1, such as what the icons mean, a family tree, and descriptions of all the characters. It also has several "Birth certificates" and "Return home certificates" where fans can fill in the details about their Tamagotchi virtual pets when they hatched, and when they returned home.
