The poll's voting page
The Tamagotchi 25th Anniversary Poll was a popularity poll held on the Tamagotchi website in June 15, 2022. The purpose of the poll was to choose the tenth character to be on the roster of the Anniversary Party TamaSma Card.
Premise[]
When the Anniversary Party Tamagotchi Smart shell was announced, the Anniversary Party Friends TamaSma Card was also announced with it. The card featured 9 prominent characters from past Tamagotchi toys plus one character who would be decided by popularity poll. The poll would run for 8 days and end at June 23, 2022. The results would then be announced in the first half of July and the Tamagotchi with the most votes would be put into the Anniversary Party Friend's roster.
The poll itself had 25 characters to choose from, all being from past Tamagotchi toys. These characters included:

- Ginjirotchi
- Tarakotchi
- Hashizoutchi
- Kusatchi
- Sekitoritchi
- Charitchi
- Kurokotchi
- Yattatchi
- Necktietchi
- Ura Zukyutchi
- Kunoitchi
- Nemutchi
- Moriritchi
- Himespetchi
- Momotchi
- Maisutatchi
- Pianitchi
- Miraitchi
- Clulutchi
- Smartotchi
- Shimagurutchi
- Fairytchi
- Majoritchi
Each character had a description given by a Shirotama when selected, describing a little bit of their personality and appearance. Users could vote once a day until the poll ended on June 23, 2022.
Results[]
On July 15, 2022 the results of the poll were announced. The top ten characters were shown (with Clulutchi and Smartotchi having a tie for 10th place) and Ginjirotchi was revealed to be the top winner.
