Tamagotchi Classic was a mobile app which was released in regions that did not receive the Tamagotchi L.i.f.e. app in September 2013, before receiving a release in the USA in March 2015, shortly after the discontinuation of said app. The app was discontinued on July 17, 2019, shortly before the release of the Tamagotchi On app.
It was nearly identical in appearance and functionality to the original L.i.f.e. app, with several changes. It has no advertisements, no longer features social media support, and has added support for the Apple Watch.
The app only features the first generation of the original Tamagotchi as it is based off the original version of the Tamagotchi L.i.f.e app. Outside of the USA, two other versions (one based on the second generation and the other based on the Tamagotchi Angel) were also released.

Apple Watch[]
The app has support for the Apple Watch, though the functionality through the watch is limited. The character has no animations, and the user can only feed, clean messes, check status, and turn off the lights.
