The Tamagotchi Nano Colorful Hololive Fantasitchi (Tamagotchi Nano Colorful ホロライブファンタジっち) is the second release in the Tamagotchi Nano Colorful line. It is made in collaboration with the 3rd generation of VTubers under Hololive Production, named Hololive Fantasy.
Pre-orders for the product are available on Bandai Premium Japan from August 11 to September 4, 2024. The products are scheduled to release during February 2025 and are recommended for ages 15 and up.
Background[]
A VTuber (short for "virtual YouTuber") is an online entertainer who uses a virtual avatar character to represent themself. Starting in late 2016, VTuber personalities were popularized by Kizuna AI, the first VTuber that embodied the traits most commonly associated with the genre since. Due to the explosion in popularity, entertainment management companies were developed to promote and manage popular VTubers.
The Hololive Fantastitchi features four VTubers from Hololive Fantasy. Usada Pekora is described as "A lonely rabbit-eared girl who loves carrots. She loves them so much that she always brings a few anywhere she goes." Shiranui Flare is a half-elf born from a human and elf who enjoys life as she pleases and wishes to be a source of comfort. Shirogane Noel is a fluffy, meatheaded knight who tries to muscle her way through all problems. Houshou Marine is a girl who aims to be a pirate someday, using her VTuber earnings to save up for a pirate ship.
Gameplay[]
Players can look after members of Hololive Fantasy by feeding them their favorite food and snacks and playing mini-games. The character's costume will change depending on how they are taken care of. Additionally, guest VTubers that aren't from Hololive Fantasy may visit the character's room.

- To promote the nano, a download code for wearable wigs of the four VTubers was released for the Tamagotchi Uni.
