Tamagotchi Official Shorts are a series of animated shorts created by various animators published on official Tamagotchi social media in 2024. The shorts were initially released on March 1st, 2024 and featured a variety of artists. A second wave of shorts created by an illustrator known by the name of study666i were then released on October 17th, 2024.
Premise[]
The shorts are generally around one to two minutes long, focusing on the lives of Tamagotchi and their caretakers. This includes how aspects of gameplay on the toys are seen from the point of view of the Tamagotchi themselves, such as cleaning up poop and connecting two toys together. The toys featured in the shorts include the original Tamagotchi, 2024 Tamagotchi Connection, and the Tamagotchi Uni.

- The first wave of shorts were posted on the official Japanese and US Tamagotchi youtube channels for a month before being removed. The shorts can still be watched on the twitter and instagram accounts.
